The Sourdough Diaries: Doris’s Big Reveal 🍞
When I tell you that I am stunned, I mean it. I have worked so hard on Doris and I can’t believe this loaf of bread started as 50g of flour and 50g of water in a bloody glass jar four weeks ago!
I’m sure I can improve and do better, but the simple fact that she came out looking and smelling edible is such a big win for me. Genuinely got tears in my eyes when I cut her open!
If you’ve ever wanted to start a sourdough starter…DO IT! Here’s to many more Doris Loaves in the future! We did it! Woo!
