There is a season in Africa that many travellers are told to avoid - a time of bountiful rains and deep green horizons. They are warned that the wildlife becomes harder to see. But the rains do not conceal the wild. They reveal it. Welcome to Botswana's Secret Season.

This stunning video was made by our good friends at Ring Road Travel, produced by Richard Chambers and filmed/edited by Michael Alfuso of Outpost Digital Cinema (www.outpostdigitalcinema.com), during their visit to us at the start of the year.

Normally, we don't host other people's content on our channel, but this was simply too stunning to keep all to ourselves!

In this cinematic eight-minute journey, step into a transforming landscape where land, water, and sky remain in constant dialogue. From November to March, The Chobe River expands, the crowds thin out, and the wilderness comes alive in a completely different way.
