The title isn't remotely clickbait. I've been a long advocate for finding a pedal that feels like home and just leaving it on. I'm far more likely to leave a light overdrive on all the time than I am even leaving compression going.

I've used many pedals for this purpose over the years, the Timmy, Benson Preamp, Vertex SSS, but the Lightspeed has very quickly become home base for tones in almost every application.

Regardless of amp, digital or valve, this thing gives you really natural sounding preamp and drive tones that just make tones sing.

I know at this point any level of soliloquy is just gilding the lily, so I'll leave these sounds here, but if you're looking for a light overdrive then let me leave my recommendation here for what has become a staple of the rig.
