The paints I am using are artists' acrylics but this works as well for oil paints or model paints.

Colours:
Raw Umber
Burnt Sienna
Buff Titanium (sometimes called natural) - this varies from yellow to greige
Sap Green/Terre Vert/Chrome Green - nothing too blue or fake looking
Black
