I'm starting a new series of vintage home films from my home state of Nebraska. Some of these films date back 100 years, and are tucked away deep in the archives. The film quality is quite good and the content is very sentimental, wherever you may reside. Most of the films are silent films, so I've been studying up and practicing my film score skills. Hoping to add a complimentary soundtrack that fits the scene, the individuals, the location, and the time. I wanted to start with this one because it is my hometown. Bethany in now part of Lincoln, Nebraska, which is where I grew up.
My passion is strong, and I love researching the Old World. Looking for special films, photographs, music, and literature is my favorite. Then when I find something that raises my emotion and touches me in a certain way, I feel a wave of inspiration, and the creativity flows. My hope is to put together a film that inspires individuals and touches their emotions in such a way that a sense of well-being is felt.
