Out of the ashes if a failed project in 1970 we have the reincarnation of the Mostly Vacuum Tube SSB Transceiver. All of the lower-level stages are vacuum tubes as is the Final, a 12GE5. The pre-driver, driver and intermediate RF amp are solid state as is the final audio power amplifier. This also uses the ESP32 with the JF3HZB analog style dial and the Si5351.
This is an engineered radio based on the Swan SW-120 topology. The metal work was only made possible by having both a manual and CNC Mill. Lots of tribal knowledge made this all possible.
This just shows an example of true Home Brew. There are no kits nor BOMs.
