In 2023, many people use two or more monitors on their computer to increase productivity. It is generally thought that Apple introduced this capability to personal computers back in 1987 with the release of the Mac II. It appears that someone else beat them to the punch with a way to do it on the non-expandable Macintosh Plus, and I got it working again.

![Hacking S-Video into a cheap 13 Color TV (Sharp 13J-M100)
I love these cheap ubiquitous Sharp 13 color TVs. They look nice and work decently well but they are super basic when it comes to their inputs. Usually just RF and maybe composite video, if youre lucky. Wouldnt it be nice if I could improve it by sharpening the resolution and adding S-Video? Lets figure out if this is possible with this cheap Sharp 13 TV!

![Recapping my Mac SE/30 wrecked it
(Note: Extra context in the pinned comment) In a recent SMMC episode, I tested out three of my Mac SE/30 motherboards and found one of them had a strange and worrying fault. In this video I dive deep into what is the problem with this board and see if I can get it working again.

![Apple II+ clone repair: I thought this would be easy... I was wrong
In the early 80s, the Apple II had was selling well but it was expensive. This is where foreign companies stepped in and started making clones. These machines were much cheaper but also illegal due to them using copied ROMs.
Here we have one of these clones but this machine is broken, very broken. So lets try to get it working.
Small correction: It turns out Franklin did not have a clean-room ROM, and were eventually found to be infringing. There isnt much detail about why Franklin was able to sell computers until 1988. See the pinned comment for more.
