The loneliness of the modern men. When you can't form meaningful connections.
In this video i will go through various reasons why people (both men and women) experience more loneliness in today's day and age than ever before and why we are facing a loneliness pandemic.
I used to isolate myself socially and gave up on society, friends and love. In this video i will focus on why men no longer form close bonds with each other, why modern dating makes us lonely and miserable, why the way we communicate is flawed, the importance of family, the hikikomori phenomenon that started in Japan and what to do when you give up on people or feel like you have nothing to offer to society and society has nothing to offer to you.
According to Daily Mail, 1 in 5 men has no close friends. Older generations were forming more firm, meaningful, close and lasting friendships with other men whereas modern friendships seem so shallow. Same goes for dating. A lot of dating nowadays is happening online on apps like Tinder. It has been shown that people on those apps either suffer loss of confidence and more insecurity about their self-image or they end up engaging in hook-up culture. Both of those examples lead to lack of lasting meaningful relationships. Online dating doesn't work either for men or women. Women get bombarded with thirsty messages and men hardly ever get a match, let alone one they can talk with or go on a date with. On top of that phenomenons like Incels and MGTOW further complicate the whole modern dating landscape. Or perhaps Incels and MGTOW are just a symptom of what modern world has become. Lonely men tend to be exploted by Only Fans and the red pill ideology. We need stronger family bonds and family values. The extended family system needs to make a comeback.
In Japan we have observed a phenonemon called hikikomori. Hikikomori are young people, usually men who self isolate and are fed up with society. They live lonely lives in their rooms reading manga, watching anime or playing video games.
I wish to end this video with my advice on what you should do when you feel like you don't want to be part of this society and whether it will help you form meaningful connections.
