The Inhabited Island by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky was originally published in book form in 1971. It was originally published in English as Prisoners of Power and was translated from a censored version. I read a translation by Andrew Bromfield of the uncensored version that was published by Chicago Review Press in 2020.
