A lot of things come to mind when we think or talk about the good old 80's and 90's. The most notable ofcourse with the children growing up during that time being the multitude of high-spirited cartoons.
These 80s and 90s cartoons were bursting with fun, had a heavy dose of optimism and some truly likeable heroes.
In fact, many kids who grew up in this time became better adults solely because of the character's portrayed in such shows.
Two of the most notable Cartoon Franchises at this time were ofcourse "He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe and ThunderCats" and can often be found amongst the favourites of many adults born of that generation.
Hugely successful toy lines allowed kids imaginations to sore and years later when said kids grew up and got jobs, some were able to bring their childhood playtimes to life via DC Comics.
And what did these Fans bring us?
An Amazing crossover between He-Man and the ThunderCats in Comic Book form.
A six part series which promised every 80s cartoon fan out there a battle of a lifetime. After all, seeing the Master of the Universe cross blades with Lion-O of Third Earth is nothing short of mind blowing.
With an amazing team of writers including Lloyd Goldfine and Rob David along with artist Freddie Williams II and colourist Jeremy Colwell, this jaw dropping comic book crossover is a blast from the past.
Not only does it take you back to your childhood days of tipping your entire toy box on the floor but there is also more mature themes to show life long fans that such a franchise can grow alongside you.
The Kevin Smith Netflix Show: Masters of the Universe Revelation is good but this, well this came first... Plus ThunderCats!
Don't get me wrong, Seeing Skeletor Win and Gain the Powers of Grayskull was Amazing but it has all happened before. SkeleGod is Good But here in Heman vs Thundercats we have MUMMATOR !
