Hello doll fans! Monster High fans and Barbie fans alike! Also, if you like tech horror films or are horrified by a soulless, lifeless AI Slop generated future, this video may also interest you. With the release of the film M3gan 2.0 happening June, 27, 2025, Mattel decided to team up and crate a M3gan Skullector doll...But the hypocrisy is incredible!
The day following the public release if the M3gan Skullector doll, Mattel states that it is teaming up with OpenAI. "Mattel’s and OpenAI’s respective expertise to design, develop, and launch groundbreaking experiences for fans worldwide." Isn't this precisely what the film M3gan is warning us about?
With the recent large scale layoffs at Mattel, and the "partnership" with OpenAI, and Mattel's business model of profit over quality the future of art and design in toys is looking bleak. Keep one eye opened when you go to bed at night! Mattel's toys are probably watching you!
