So, I definitely wasn't expecting that my first video of the year was going to be my 10K SUBS SPECIAL! WOW, THANKS EVERYONE! I honestly can't believe so many people are subscribed to my little channel but I hope all newcomers enjoy your stay x'D
When I realized I had surpassed 9K, I realized I had to prepare a special video for the ten grand. And since I know some of my subscribers are here for Equestria Girls videos and some are for Miraculous videos (some for both of course), I figured it was a good time to try out a crossover! I'm still not sure how good it looks to combine 3D and 2D characters together, buuuuuut hopefully it's fine enough x'D (I doubt I'll do it very often, depends on how well this video does).
I chose this medley because I LOOOOOOVE "The Greatest Showman", and I also love Nick Pitera. And this medley in particular showed the characters I had in mind, which in my opinion, wouldn't have worked had I done this with just one of this shows individually.
I chose Adrien/Chat as P. T. Barnum because of how, when he transforms into his superhero alter-ego, he puts on a much more secure and almost show-offy facade than when his in his normal, more vulnerable self (which is when he's shown with Marinette (Charity) ).
I chose Kagami as Jenny Lind both because of her relationship with Adrien (P. T.) and becuase the song "Never Enough" felt right for her character, because of how I feel she feels pressure from her family to be the best at her craft, even if that's not necessarily what she really wants (that's my headcanon at least, I love Kagami don't @ me)
Sci-Twi and Flash have their roles mostly because of how I feel "Rewrite the Stars" is the SciFlash icon, not gonna lie xD But come on, I can't have my 10K special video and not put my OTP in it! And finally, of course the strong character who rises up against criticism and self-doubt is played by Sunset Shimmer. I can't picture anyone else singing "This is me".
And there you have it! I tried my best to make this video something all my subscribers could enjoy, indepently of the show they watch me for. This was super fun to make! I can't promise this is going to be a HUGE year for my channel, since the goals I have are mostly centered around my art, but nevertheless thank you for supporting me! You guys are the greatest :3 Stay awesome!
