We’re kicking off our first watch of The Boys Season 5 Episode 1, “Dynamite”… and yeah… they did NOT ease us into this final season.
Right out the gate, Homelander is operating with full control, turning things into something that feels way too close to a full-blown dictatorship. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew is in survival mode, with Hughie, MM, and Frenchie locked up in a Vought “Freedom Camp” while Butcher, Starlight, and Kimiko mount a desperate rescue mission.
This episode is packed with tension, action, and some genuinely wild moments, but we HAVE to talk about A-Train. His arc takes a massive turn here, and the way it all plays out? Brutal, tragic, and honestly one of the biggest moments of the series.
