As a side grind I started spinning a wheel on *most* levels below 21+ that I would ever want to complete. Some of these charts are indexing/stamina charts, and as unfortunate as it is, I happened to roll Icyxis, a chart that is almost entirely stamina and finger control at a high bpm. I thought I would spend weeks on this chart alone, given how miserably bad I am at any form of speed/stamina in this game in comparison to where I "should" be for my skill level. I thought, quite frankly, that this wasn't physically possible for me.
What followed was a 5 minute grind from 0. It took 5 minutes of attempts from 0 to clear this chart. My previous best was 22%. The fact that I am saying these words for a chart like Icyxis, a stamina and speed chart, is inconceivable as someone who has struggled for so long on those skillsets. I may have fluked plenty of 21s (end of system, noisy parade, annihilation, quax qualv, lovesong,) but just from sheer surprise this is definitely by far the greatest one. There was absolutely no chance that I should have this clear right now, especially with how much I still struggle with speed as low as 790bpm.
The most undeserving clear in ADOFAI.

Genuinely never thought I would see this one. Ive always been so incredibly bad at speed/stamina and I always thought this was just an impossibility. I guess I continue to surprise myself.
Somehow extremely fun, even though it shouldnt be? I found myself actually enjoying this level despite it being so ridiculously hard for me. The index arc continues...

It is no understatement that this is by far, the most important accomplishment to me across anything Ive ever done, and probably ever will do.
I looked at this chart as the pure limit for me. The chart I could never quite reach, the grind I could never finish, the challenge I could never see myself fully pushing through. Ive spent countless hours learning every single minute detail of this chart, learning how to hit every single section, and learning how to do it consistently enough for this to be a viable grind.
I once looked at this chart in awe, in complete shock, even. I thought that despite the progress I had already made that it was always just out of reach. I truthfully thought that this would be the one to get away. And it almost was.
This is the most important accomplishment to me. Not because its my first 21.1+, and not because its another one of my horrendously long grinds. It is my most important because it was my personal challenge I gave to myself back when I beat Mare. It was the very thing I have worked towards for the entire duration of the grind. It was the grind that truly pushed me to my absolute limit, and then continued pushing. And despite all of this, Ive done it. Ive pushed through the very thing I thought was impossible for me.
Theres nothing that can stop me now.

yes i know this clear sucks, this is the very first clear i got with the wooting keyboard and i was still getting used to it. combine that with butchering practically every section in the song and still somehow passing, and you get this trainwreck of a clear. im not entirely convinced that this is U3 due to the fact that i managed to butcher literally everything and still clear.
better clears soon :) [i got like 4 universal clears today and all of them are pretty good!]

god these charts need more love
Offset Packed is yet another chart from Codices Illegal Nervous Habits map-pack, and it very much lives up to the quality of the other charts Ive played. Its extremely draining to play, but also extremely fun, and is overall a daunting yet rewarding grind. I used to think that this was U4, but after playing this for a while it all seemed to click immediately, and it would be odd to place this in the same division as Multiarm.

First 21 clear of 2024, and it deserves a pope thumbnail. The only hard part of this chart is squarely in the middle, and it basically never gets consistent in any way. Everything before it is trivial and everything afterwards is extremely chokeable with nerves. All around not a good time, not much skill to be gained from this, and overall not recommended.

Despite the name, this is actually quite a fun chart, definitely recommend this one :]
We are closing in on reaching 100 21s. As of now I have 89 clears that are 21 or above. I was the first one outside of Korea to do a single one, and now Im about to reach 100 of them. Never ever thought I would make it this far.
