The 2026 Avatr 06T arrives as a sleek “shooting brake” or sports touring wagon version of the Avatr 06 sedan, officially unveiled on April 22, 2026. Developed through the collaboration between Changan, Huawei, and CATL, it blends high-performance engineering with advanced intelligent systems. Designed to stand out in the premium EV space, the 06T combines sporty styling with enhanced practicality, making it a compelling alternative to traditional sedans while maintaining a strong focus on cutting-edge technology and driving dynamics.
Under the hood, the Avatr 06T showcases an impressive range of electrified powertrains. The flagship tri-motor fully electric variant delivers a massive 712 kW (955 hp), featuring a 210 kW front motor paired with dual 251 kW rear motors, enabling blistering acceleration from 0–100 km/h in just 2.78 seconds. It is equipped with an 89.33 kWh CATL Shenxing 5C battery, offering over 740 km of CLTC range and ultra-fast 5C charging that can take the battery from 30% to 80% in under 10 minutes. For those seeking extended range flexibility, the EREV version uses a 1.5T engine with a 45.06 kWh battery, delivering up to 330 km of pure electric range and a combined driving range of approximately 1,250 km.
In terms of design and usability, the wagon body significantly enhances practicality compared to the sedan. The 06T measures 4,940 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,475 mm in height, with a 2,940 mm wheelbase, providing a spacious and stable platform. It offers a 517-liter trunk that can expand into a 2.15-meter cargo area with one-touch folding rear seats, making it highly versatile for long trips or hauling needs. Unlike the sedan, it includes a traditional rear window with a wiper for improved visibility. Inside, the vehicle is packed with advanced tech, including Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4.0 autonomous driving system with a cutting-edge 896-line LiDAR capable of detecting objects up to 250 meters away. The cabin also features the HarmonySpace 5 system, highlighted by a 35.4-inch 4K panoramic display and a 15.6-inch central screen, along with optional 6.7-inch high-definition electronic side mirror displays for a futuristic driving experience.
