This wasn't as tough as the last couple of bosses, but I did find timing parries and burst counters to be a lot harder. The delay on some of the moves tripped me up quite a bit my first few attempts.
Main thing hwere is that its parts are destructible, so you can open some extra stagger windows in additon to the normal exhaustion and burst counters staggers if you break one of its legs. There's also a long punish window after the combo it does with 4 straight leg attacks and a two-leg slam, if you parry the slam.
Other than that, I recommend using the poison resist accessories you can find in the level. There's a necklace and a ring, and I basically never got poisoned in the fight. They also make traversing the Poison Depths section of the level a lot easier.
