A SPIDER-MAN MUSEUM ????
Was the words I blurted out of my mouth when I first found out that the museum of science and industry in Chicago was going to be the home of a limited time Exhibit dedicated to our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!
So you already know I had to go and check it out for myself!
When you step in you are immediately greeted with a giant banner and the people in front let us know that the exhibit is actually split into TWO different sections!
Walking in we’re just greeted with HUGE LED screens that lay out some of Spider-Man’s History like his origin story as well as some fun facts.
Something that I liked about the exhibit was they had each of these information cards for everything that was showcased and also had a Spanish version so it makes it that much more inclusive!
Some of the media shown at the exhibit was so cool to see, there were lifesized statues of different spider people like peter and miles, memorabilia from the movies like the actual newspapers that were used in the sam raimi movies, or even peters camera from the first Amazing Spider-Man!
Tributes to all the famous Spider-Man Writers and artists, Different Variations of the infamous Amazing Fantasy #15 Cover through the years, and even props used from the actual movies like the stand-in for the lizard they used for filming, Green Goblins Helmet and pumpkins, Peters webshooters and even green goblin’s costume that Harry used from the Amazing Spiderman 2….which we try to forget when we can….
One of my favorite parts was that they had both suits from Far from Home on display, and let me tell you, the detail on these suits up close was ACTUALLY insane! There was so much to take in and I recorded literally EVERYTHING that was there to be shown at the exhibit so I'll eventually make a full vlog but for now. If you want a better look let me know in the comments and if this video does well ill make a part 2 showing you guys some more stuff!
