In this video I'll be showing you the easiest method to transfer weapon stats in 1.2.0! This will let you upgrade the MSG and is also the fastest way to do so on 1.1.2!

Key Terms
- Target Item
This is the Melee/Shield/Bow that will be RECEIVING the stats.
- Donor Item
This is the Melee/Shield/Bow that will be GIVING the stats.
Requirements
- The Weapon/Shield/Bow you want to upgrade.
- The item that has the upgrades you want to transfer.
- A Like-Like
- Any location you can warp to.
Steps
1. Unequip all Melee, Shields and Bows.
2. Find your Like-Like and make a save near it (this is a backup).
3. Drop your Target Item near the Like-Like.
4. Watch for the bulb to pulse 5 times.
5. On, or immediately after the 5th pulse (depending on position), pick up the Target item off the ground (The timing is very lenient).
The Like-Like should eat both Link and the Item.
When you grab the item, you should see an indicator on the right side of the screen saying you picked up the Donor Item.
If you don't see this indicator, retrieve your item from the Like-Like (or load your save) and start over from Step 3.
6. After the Like-Like spits you back out, your Target Item will be equipped in your menu but not in game (invisible weapon).
When the Like-Like spits you out, you should see a message on-screen that says "Your [Target Item] was stolen!" (this won't happen with the msg).
If you don't see this message, retrieve your item from the Like-Like (or load your save) and start over from Step 3.
If you don't have an invisible Target Item equipped, retrieve your item from the Like-Like (or load your save) and start over from Step 3.
7. Warp anywhere (literally anywhere, it doesn't matter where).
This will cause the item that the Like-Like still has to unload, creating a full desync with your equipment.
8. Go into your menu and drop the Donor Item.
9. Pick the Donor Item back up.
This will make it look like Link is holding the Donor Item in his hand, but the Target Item will still be equipped in the menu.
10. Equip a different Weapon/Shield/Bow.
11. Reequip your Target Item.
Your Target Item will now have the upgrade, durability and fuse material of your Donor Item.
