After completing a mathematics degree and Masters of Computer Graphics, a phone call from Peter Jackson brought Head of VFX, Matt Aitken to Wētā.
Today, he has spent over two decades helping shape some of the most iconic visual effects in cinema, working on films such as Lord of the Rings, King Kong, Avatar, Avengers and more. Throughout his career, Matt has earned two Academy Award and BAFTA nominations and five VES Awards.
