7/30/2024 - Before you complain about me saying the game sucks because I skipped dialogue, please note: for the entirety of the video, I read the majority of dialogue, only skipping some parts, not because I wouldn't want to read it, but mostly for the video's sake, such as keeping in fashion for the "Games That SUCK" series (I cannot decide whether to leave dialogue in or not since I do not read it outloud, so it's mostly silent) until the last 10% or so of the gameplay. Most of the dialogue was them just teasing or talking to eachother, really unimportant, I understand it's important for character development, but when it's just dark jokes and edgy statements that are just embarassing, it doesn't really interest me. However, from here on out, I will be reading everything, even try to read it outloud. (I wrote this mostly cause my like to dislike ratio is pretty bad, but you can improve it.)
I think I might be burnt out right now. But man, this game sucks. I am also very aware this is ONLY the first chapter. I do think the game will be good, by the end I did look forward to exploring and playing through an area that isn't some dirty complex, but I really hate how much dialogue there is, and the characters themselves. Writing is pretty bad. I know what I'm talking about, there wouldn't be much to complain about if the results for searching "TCOAAL sucks" on Google bring up nothing bad, have to do it myself.
Otherwise, Shit Ensues.
