Can OT security training be cross sector following a standard like IEC 62443? Or is it more effective if it's sector specific. Jesus makes the case that it should be sector specific and more aligned with engineering. He uses rail systems OT security training as the example.
He shared insights from a new 125-hour course, which was specifically designed for rail industry professionals. The course, sponsored by the Spanish Ministry of Transportation, was delivered in a hybrid format and centered around Technical Specification 50701 for rail cybersecurity (TS-50701), incorporating innovative educational techniques.
