Sega originally wanted to bring their massive 15th-anniversary game to the Wii alongside the PS3 and Xbox 360. But there was a huge problem: the Wii hardware just couldn't handle it! Instead of forcing a broken, downgraded port, the dev team split in twoโleading to the creation of Sonic and the Secret Rings.
