The Boston Tea Party
Film Date: 1988
If I've placed the date of this video correctly, it fell in the first half of our senior year in High School. We were tasked to do a project for U.S. History and we chose to do a video of The Boston Tea Party.
We shot most of it on location at The Boston Tea Party Museum in Boston, and I recall we were given lots of unexpected cooperation from the staff there.
Obviously, we weren't overly concerned with historical accuracy. That should be evident from the terrible costumes and woeful dialog, but it did earn us a B+ for our efforts. I specifically remember Mr. Shoenig saying that he would have given us an A, but seeing all those sneakers and a camouflage jacket ruined his enjoyment of it somewhat. A fair point, Mr. Shoenig, a fair point.
