What's up guys! I found an awesome trick with loading 120 roll film onto a Patterson developing reel. Before figuring this out, no joke I hated loading medium format film onto the spool, but now... SUPER FAST AND EASY!
All you need is a wallet sized photo about 2-3/8" wide by 3-1/2" tall (60.325mm wide by 88.9mm tall). Some wallet prints are cut in different sizes, so you may need to trim them down. IMO photo paper helps the film glide on the reel and provides just the right amount of stiffness. I first tried using regular paper and cardboard, but they didn't work nearly as well.
