If you've felt behind on the apps your kids are using, you're not the only one. Every year, we release an Annual Report here at Bark that looks back at the amount of alerts we sent to families and which apps pose the most risk to kids. We gather the data and highlight the patterns to show parents and the public what kids are actually facing in the digital world.
A couple of things worth knowing about Bark’s Annual Report and the apps listed in this video:
👉 In 2025, Bark processed 11.1 billion activities across texts, email, YouTube, and 30+ apps. The risks we share with you are based on data, not opinion. Our goal is to bring awareness to the dangers kids are experiencing every day online and equip parents with the knowledge and tools they need to help protect them.
👉 If your child is on any of the apps on these lists, treat it as your cue to get involved. These are the platforms where risk is concentrated, so they're the ones that deserve a closer look tonight. Staying aware of what's actually happening on them is what puts you in a position to make informed calls, whether that's tightening settings, turning on monitoring, setting new limits, or deciding an app isn't worth keeping.
👉 Keeping track of all of this on your own is nearly impossible, but the good news is you don't have to do it alone.
