The Accepted Standard of Pig Farming in Australia | Finniss Piggery SA
On Piggery Road in Mannum, South Australia, Finniss Park piggery operates as the flagship breeding unit for Andgar Proprietors.
Supplying directly to the Dublin grower piggery once a month, Finniss Park is the birthplace of each and every one of the pigs filmed suffering inside those horrific sheds.
Last month, investigators visited for the first time in over 10 years to find conditions barely changed. Pregnant sows still languish, barely able to move in tiny sow stalls, while mother pigs are forced to feed their babies in ‘farrowing crates,’ narrow cages barely longer and wider than their bodies.
