In 2005 – 4 years after the iPod but 2 years *before* the iPhone – Sony Ericsson released the world's first Walkman phone, the W800. These days it's considered a 'dumb phone' rather than a 'smart phone', but our Director & Chief Curator wanted to point out a pretty smart thing about the back of the W800, which is our museum's Object of the Week for 14 March 2022.
