The Legion, Malvern Band, Boy Scouts, Fire Department, and many more, did a great job helping us remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Thank you all! 🇺🇸🎖 Hopefully this video can give you a sense of how the parade started, enjoy!

Moody2022-05-29 | While we were open on Saturday I recorded this drone video of the Veterans Wall and the area around it in honor of Memorial Day coming up. Thank you to all of the veterans that have fought for our country and to protect our freedom.🎖🇺🇸 When I got a wide shot of the gazebo and wall I realized how nice the town looked so I kept recording a 360° overview of everything. Thanks to everyone that helps keep the Historical Society and our town looking so great! I hope you enjoy the video!

Moody2021-09-11 | Grand Turk is one of my favorite ports, here's a view of us sailing in on Carnival Glory back in 2014. There's super clear water here too and you can go to the beach right next to the ship. It's neat being able to swim so close by. There's also a beached, abandoned ship you can see on the way in, Mega One Triton. Here's a photo I took of it with my drone: instagram.com/p/BqY54DsA89 I have videos to upload of it too. As of 2020 they successfully removed the wreck, to prevent damage to the beach in the area. ukchamberofshipping.com/latest/satisfying-conclusion-wreck-removal-mega-one-triton One more neat exhibit here is the splashdown display honoring John Glenn's return in the Friendship 7 (one of Mercury capsules). I'll have more to post about that in future. grandturkcc.com/news-events/splashdown-grand-turk.aspx
This is one of the earlier cruise time-lapses I have. The feature just came out with iOS 8 in September of 2014. Shot using an iPhone 6, this still looks pretty good compared to some of my more recent ones. When I've switched between newer and older ones, it seems like the speed has changed slightly, or at least the frames that get kept for the final video. Maybe it's saving a smoother version (higher frame rate) in newer versions of iOS or on newer phones. Nothing huge, just an observation I didn't really research yet.
I usually mount the camera on one of the glass panes on the upper decks of the ship, it stays really stable and works well for time-lapses like this.
I used Logic Pro X and its Live Loops feature to make the music. I'm learning so much right now with Logic and it's exciting to keep exploring what I can do with it.

Moody2021-09-05 | I have some very early memories of Magens Bay, when we sailed on the Carnival Sensation (and possibly the Carnival Pride) in the mid to late 90s. This cruise was on the Carnival Glory. The water is incredible here. I remember seeing almost completely transparent fish and the water was just as clear. It’s very relaxing there. The sound of the waves and beach in general always help me chill and appreciate nature. The iPhone 6 I used, still captured some pretty nice quality footage. I replaced the audio with a recording from my Zoom H1 recorder. It helps a lot, due to the wind. (The “deadcat” windscreen helps even more to keep the wind noise down.) The audio recorder also helps separate the left and right stereo channels, so you can really hear the waves go from side to side. It’s a much more realistic sound, close to what I heard. ⠀ When I was checking the spelling and punctuation, I found this helpful, official site, about Magens Bay: magensbayauthority.org/about ⠀ Equipment used: Zoom H1 amazon.com/Zoom-ZH1-Portable-Digital-Recorder/dp/B003QKBVYK Redhead Windscreen (Installed on audio recorder to minimize wind noise. I recorded this in between doing the other time-lapses I've shared recently. I'm pretty close to the water park on the ship so you hear some of kids playing over there. It was still very relaxing there and such a cool sight, seeing the clouds form and move around the mountain along with the awesome sunset.
The ship docks at a great angle, especially if you're there in the evening. The lighting is incredible with all of the clouds, boats, cars, etc. I usually mount the camera on one of the glass panes on the upper decks of the ship (Carnival Horizon), it stays really stable and works well for time-lapses like this.

Got to work with Benny Nanners for some music for this one again, I think it turned out great! We spent a lot of time dialing it in. Check out more of his music on SoundCloud: soundcloud.com/user-504171254

I’ve been messing around with the newer Live Loops feature it has. It’s fun using GarageBand again like I did a back in middle school and high school. What’s amazing is that most of this can be done right on your iPhone or iPad now, where I specifically bought a Mac back in the day for these kinds of projects. (The Live Loops feature is actually unique to the iOS version of GarageBand, so an iPad was very helpful here! (In 2021 they added Live Loops to the Mac version of GarageBand and Logic Pro.)

I recorded this walking tour to help preserve the park for historical reference.
I left the original audio which means that there are songs that I do not own that were playing in the background around the park.
This was recorded on the final day of operation and partially as the park was closed. You can see on the clock that it was after 7 PM, which was the planned closing time. There was no rush for anyone to leave though, all of the employees were very kind and accommodating of everyone taking photos and videos.
I have memories of this park when it was SeaWorld and also being able to see it while visiting Geauga Lake. You can see remnants of both of these parks in the video. It's unfortunate that it is now closed but sometimes difficult and unpopular business decisions have to be made. This will be the first time in 129 years that a park of some kind has not been in operation around Geauga Lake.
This is longer than many regular videos, but I wanted to share the sense of being at the park and getting to see almost the whole park.
I hope you enjoyed the video and thank you for watching.
Be sure to search for Geauga Lake, SeaWorld Ohio, SeaWorld Cleveland, Six Flags Ohio, Six Flags Worlds of Adventure, and Wildwater Kingdom to find out even more about this great piece of history.
Here is the statement about the park closing from Wildwater Kingdom's website. (wildwaterfun.com)
"Cedar Fair Entertainment Company has announced that Wildwater Kingdom water park in Aurora, Ohio, will not reopen after the 2016 season. Its final day of operation will be Monday, September 5.
Cedar Fair has been working cooperatively with both Bainbridge Township and the City of Aurora to redevelop the entire property into what will best benefit the surrounding communities. After examining its long-range plans, Cedar Fair has determined that the time is right to begin this transition and will continue to work together with community leadership in the positive future development of the property.
Cedar Fair would like to thank the residents of Northeast Ohio for supporting Wildwater Kingdom each summer."
Here is more information about each major attraction at the park from Wildwater Kingdom's website. (wildwaterfun.com) All of these were included in the video.
Coral Cove - Blast your friends with water, climb on the giant floating turtle and then, challenge them to a game of water basketball. You'll find hours of fun for big and little squirts!
Liquid Lightning - Climb into a raft with three fellow thrill seekers and take the 60 foot plunge on Liquid Lightning. You'll fly down an enclosed slide into an enormous funnel where you'll spiral into a soak-tacular finale.
Riptide Run - Grab an inner tube, kick back and relax on Riptide Run - a 1,100-foot long lazy river. It's the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day.
Splash Landing - Never before have you found yourself in a place so dedicated to getting you wet. Splash Landing has four stories of water slides, soaking gadgets, geysers, water cannons and a giant bucket dropping 1,000 gallons of water every few minutes.
Thunder Falls - Are you brave enough to climb the 100-foot tower to plunge down one of three enclosed body slides or four inner tube slides? You'll twist and turn down Ohio's tallest water slide and splash into a refreshing pool at the bottom.
Tidal Wave Bay - The fun comes in waves! Bounce and splash in this 390,000 gallon wave pool guaranteed to bring you hours of fun. If waves aren't your style - relax in a VIP cabana or catch some rays on a nearby beach chair.

This is the pier where people boarded boats including "Miss Chippewa" and "Tom Sawyer." (The Tom Sawyer boat is still at the park, beached, and cabled down to the ground on the shore.)
When I turn around and pan the shoreline that is approximately where the park's picnic pavilion was. (It was from the pier to the cement pylons that stick out of the water) It was lost to arson in the 80's; there is a very small corner portion left, which is visible for a second at the beginning of the video.
