In the recent TF2 update (12 May 2025), there was a change that allowed certain free-to-play accounts to chat, use voicelines, and vote, which was originally taken away because of (let's be honest) Valve's greed and very bad attempt at combating the bot crisis happening at the time. Not much is currently known, and the Medic is here to tell us how much we don't know. Hooray.
