Today I'm testing my very first Biwin SSD, the Black Opal NV7400 with a capacity of 2TB.
This is an M.2 NVMe SSD with the fast PCIe 4.0 x4 connection. And the manufacturer Biwin promises fairly durable 3D TLC NAND memory. This should enable read and write speeds of up to 7450 and 6500 MB/s, respectively. The price isn't even that high. As a matter of fact, it's rather realistic and reasonable.
For me, the question today isn't just how an NV7400 SSD from Biwin performs, but also which components are ultimately used.
The 5-year warranty for the SSD in question makes a promising impression. So, is it worth buying today's model or are there still concerns or drawbacks you should know of?
