Nothing happened.
To find out why, I traveled to Taiwan and spent two days inside ProLogium, one of the world's leading solid-state battery manufacturers. After more than 20 years of development, they're now producing solid-state battery cells at gigawatt-hour scale, with an independently verified energy density of **360 Wh/kg**.
But specifications only tell part of the story.
We weighed the battery, measured it, cut it open, tested its electrolyte, and pushed it far beyond what most batteries would survive. Then we went inside ProLogium's manufacturing facility to see how these next-generation batteries are built and whether solid-state technology is finally ready for mass production.
