Killling Skeletron on the first night is a challenge that I worked on in the autumn of 2011, but never really got anywhere with it. So I decided to give it a try again, and after a few hours he was dead. Most important things:
1) Knowing how he moves (means you need to practice to find a good pattern)
2) Knowing what items you need (I spend way to much time with bows)
3) Luck on map seed (don't be discouraged by a corruption, as you can run through those - but not finding chests = no-go)
