Nostalgia alert! @Tgrov caught the attention of Hackster Pro Cameron Coward at Open Sauce 2025 with his giant recreation of a '90s Tamagotchi, designed to simulate everyday struggles (job, debt, stress, etc.). Inspired by Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, the project is modern, complex take on the classic virtual toy where basic care evolves into managing deeper life elements — and the game can be won if you somehow reach self-actualization. The scaled-up device features a 3D-printed shell, which houses a Raspberry Pi and an RGB LED matrix, along with three buttons for input just like the original.
