[CHARACTER BIOS - SPOILERS BELOW]
When it’s light, he’s nothing but an ordinary CRT TV. But when the lights run low, Mr. Ant Tenna comes to life! Being a television (yes, literally a television) it’s his job to make sure everyone has a good time and keeps their eyes on him. This is clear when the heroes of the legend of Deltarune meet him in the dark world and he sends them through various mystery boards, quizzes, and physical challenges to keep them entertained. He knows just how important he is. He’s witnessed Kris Dreemurr’s family argue and break apart with no way of doing anything about it. He once tried to make a deal with a very shady salesman to make it big, but they eventually split and never saw each other again. Then The Knight arrived. The Roaring Knight said that so long as he distracted our heroes, he would get all the eyes on him that he could ever want. He would be able to make people happy again and wouldn’t have to worry about getting thrown away. So say it with him, now… “IT’S! TV! TIME!”
Edwin Murray was a very busy man, constantly making inventions for his business. He was so busy, he didn’t have time for his own family, leaving his son neglected. Eventually, he built a robot to take care of his son, David Murray. This robot was able to copy and replicate behaviors of anything it saw. It replicated what it saw and made the perfect friend for David. Unfortunately, David wasn’t around forever. One day, the child was struck dead by a car. Now the robot would continue to copy the behaviors of Edwin’s dead child, driving him insane. He attacked the robot, striking and beating it out of anger. This anger, however, would also be copied by the machine, and returned tenfold. This is the origin of The Mimic. Its current motives and influences are unknown, however many people have come to believe that it has begun to replicate the actions of William Afton, the series’s notorious serial killer. It also has the ability to take over any costume or animatronic it comes across, making it nearly impossible to trust any seemingly innocent robot you may find in Five Nights At Freddy’s...
