Finally completed this final challenge years after finishing the rest of the content the game had to offer. Honestly not as difficult as I had been led to believe, but still took a few attempts. Having to watch the full credits every time before each attempt was also quite annoying, but I got there eventually.

Is the reward worth it?....... sure

Probably my favourite boss fight Toby Fox has ever made, and one of my favourite characters too. Absolutely in love with The Roaring Knight's design, bullet patterns, music, introduction, general vibe, just everything.

One thing I love about The Knight's appearance is the simple monochromatic colour scheme and simple, silhouetted features which gives their animations so much freedom to warp and shapeshift in unique ways, such as the feature on their face functioning like both a visor, and a smile. As well as their cool alternate forms, such as their orb and bird forms.

The sword tunnel attacks (the ones that resembles Sans's bone tunnel attacks) feel so satisfying to get through hitless and I love the added flair of all of the swords flying through the battle box to end the attack.

I also really like the fact that we only get The Knight down to about 70% HP before ending the fight, followed by a cutscene where our team gets completely wiped out effortlessly, showing that we don't stand a chance against the Knight's full strength, really cementing this as the main antagonist of DELTARUNE.

Overall, awesome character, awesome design, awesome fight.

Really awesome boss fight!

I've thought Gerson was a really cool character since Undertale and finally getting the chance to fight him is such a cool move from Toby.

Also a huge fan of the return of the green SOUL mechanics, and the changes that came with it! The parrying mechanic is such a fun idea to add more interactivity to the enemy's attacks, and the 8-way aiming is such a simple change which adds so much more complexity to the fight!

I also really enjoyed the playful, non-serious vibe of this fight, seeing Gerson understand how Susie operates, and showcasing his established excellent teaching skills in the form of a secret boss battle is really cool and adds so much to his character, giving us a glimpse of how powerful he might have even been in his prime... We can see where Undyne learned her skills from!

The cube climb regrab is really annoying, second time I've ever done it after Laser Chaining 0p.
I tried for a while to get through the ceiling in the first room with access to unlimited cubes and, while theoretically possible, it's far too much of a hassle to be viable in my opinion.

Mechanic thingies:
- In sections with Cuphead each note you hit will increase your card meter. Each parry (pink) note counts for 20 notes on the card meter. Once it is full press space to gain HP
- Cuphead can shoot an EX attack at you that deals unavoidable damage
- Cuphead shoots unavoidable bullets at you that slowly chip your HP
- Sans uses blue notes that drain your health rapidly when hit and orange notes that do the same but if missed
- Sans just takes the Undertale battle format lol if u get hit your hp lowers
- Sans uses Gaster Blasters that deal unavoidable damage (but can't kill)
- Sans will summon bones from the floor indicated by a warning that can be dodged with space
- Sans will cap your HP at half its max value for a portion of the song
- Bendy has ink notes that obscure your vision when hit and shadow notes that deal damage when hit
- Bendy goes into a dark room that changes noteskins making it harder to differentiate between notes and hides your HP
- Bendy has life steal meaning when he sings, your HP drains
- Piper from Bendy and the Ink Machine will block your vision with a jumpscare at one point in the song
