This is my entry for Gamescage's "Sonic's Got Talent", I honestly never thought I would've made something since I was worn out from Shaulov's contest, but it was a more pleasant rush than I thought lol
It was first going to be a solo entry but I wouldn't have made it so I got some help from Sonicfreak who I must thank a lot for all the supervision and a little sequence in the video he contributed in making by himself even though he was already busy with another video.

Hope you all will like this, it's a huge upgrade from the last video, with more integration with Blender for the 3D sequences, more compositing, more masking and so on. It's also the first time since so long that I worked with a fast paced song as this, it was quite a challenge.

I didn't expect myself to finally cook a full AMV made only by me after all this time, I've been scrapping countless videos for so long I was even afraid I couldn't pull a full video off by me, questioned my skills, felt so insecure.
I lacked inspiration and tried so hard to overcome it but without succeding, untill I listened to this song, and I pictured the whole video already, a feeling I didn't get from so long.
This is the result of everything I trained myself so far, and I really REALLY hope y'all will like this.

I must thank everyone who gave me support in this, starting from Team Emerald, whose people and recent work helped me regain motivation to edit and improve myself, and the whole Sonic Italian Community I manage that is cheering me in this.

One last thank you goes to my love, who supported me for everything I've been through, and lent me a hand everytime I felt down. You don't know how much this meant to me.

Now, onto the video.
While I always love the idea of an entire homogeneous editing style for a full AMV, I wanted to approach a different work.
The song has a big mix of different melodies, rhythm, lyrics and so on, so I wanted to make different styles that blend into each other, while keeping their own identity. The average viewer is gonna experience all of this, and then after watching it, it's gonna question how we did manage to reach the end in this way if the beginning was totally different.
Hope this experiment works, I tried going with raw sections with typography based ones, to letterbox sentimental scenes, to 3D, to action and so on.

Hi guys, I needed to revive this abandoned channel with some work I did elsewhere.

I can't believe I can make this stuff in just 2 hours and then I get stuck on other projects I'd rather focus on.
Anyway yes, this is an editing challenge against Tails Strife who is a good friend of mine. We kinda wanted to spar a little with our editing skills, so here you go.
Rules were simple, I chose the song, he chose about 30 seconds of it.

Heyo everyone, Froozex here!
Been a long while as usual, but here I am with a new video!
Actually I uploaded this on my second channel but I thought many editors haven't seen it yet so here you go!
I made this GMV for my first IC and I must say I'm quite impressed!
Not only I managed to edit a brand new media such as Arcane, but I also managed to get to 3rd place in the Misc. Category AND in 9th place Overall, which is quite a goal for my first time!
Also I was kinda lucky by getting covid the last days of the IC since work didn't allow me to have enough time to work at it so... By the way don't worry, I was really fine.
Anyway I managed to make some cool stuff here and there, creating brand new scenes and a story behind it. Or well, we can say it's a reinterpretation of the original story lol

Lo so, nemmeno un po' ma giusto per sapere che ho combinato in tutto questo tempo, stavo lavorando a questa serie di video per il canale di Sonic Team Blog.
Questi video promuovono un'iniziativa che molti di noi italiani abbiamo atteso da chissà quanto! Una mod di traduzione italiana del gioco Sonic Adventure.
Siccome tutti i trailer sono stati realizzati dal sottoscritto (Fatta eccezione per il Teaser di Project 7, realizzato da Nico), ho deciso di raccoglierli tutti e postarli qui come Showreel.

Devo comunque ringraziare @SoniComic che con il suo team di doppiatori amatoriali ci ha aiutato a realizzare un adattamento completo dei trailer commerciali giapponesi del gioco e ad elevare la qualità generale dei trailer che abbiamo usato per promuovere la mod.
Prima che cominciate a dire qualunque cosa, NO! QUESTA MOD NON INCLUDE AL MOMENTO IL DOPPIAGGIO ITALIANO.
Al momento, però...
Semplicemente non è in programma e siccome impiegherebbe molto tempo a realizzarlo, nel frattempo vi delizieremo con questa mod grafica, che sarà rilasciata entro questo inverno. Restate sintonizzati!

Ok, I'm so tired right now, but I can say it was worth it!
For those who don't know, I joined Alan Walker's Music Video Contest in which I have to make a Music Video using videogame clips.
Sadly this video got uploaded some minutes past the deadline. I really hope they don't mind that. Either way, it was fun working on this.

Now for some story: this video was supposed to have a more complex structure due to the fact I wanted to show more story into this video. But that slowed me down a lot due to too many masks and comps I had to do. So I just tried focusing on the colouring, setting a common scene to the video and trying another way to show the story I wanted to share.
It's very simple but effective to show: There's a future destroyed world where war comes first, and everyone tries to survive, and the only thing that keeps them moving on is their happy memories.
Every war leads to ruin, but those memories will be the supports for the survivor's rebuilding of a new world.

So, hope everyone likes it! And hope I get in a good place too, like everyone lol

Gotta explain some shit but long story short:
Had some foreign study plans from my uni that had to get going but they got ruined and I got unexpectedly involved in a lot of stuff to study in order to recover what I was supposed to do outside of Italy soooo yea, that's why I suddently disappeared... for like MORE THAN 10 MONTHS. Sorry to everyone, my friends, my editors, and mostly to my virgins from SpinzTeam (speaking of which, I guess some MEP's ded cause of me, right?)
Anyway as you could see I managed to use some time to practice with Adobe After Effects, and I still have some work to post here, and I WILL SOON.

I'll be going on Hiatus for a while.. Precisely 2 weeks, but it's not wanted by me, it's forced as I have to go to university from tomorrow and I will move to an apartment nearby.
