Description: In Cappadocia, Turkey in the heart of Sufism, we saw a wondrous whirling dervish performance in a 13th Century caravanseri. We chatted with the head dervish afterwards and with their permission, I hooped for them. They were in their street clothes. The photos of the Dervishes were taken many years ago when photography was allowed. They do not permit it now.

Just outside our lodge - Inkaterra- bananas impaled on trees attracted blue-gray, saffron crowned, golden napped, and blue necked tanagers as well as Chlorophonias and Euphonias. The rain did not dampen their energy.
