In my previous Fire Dragon video I ran it stock with the silvercan motor. I since swapped the motor out for a Torque Tuned motor, which is substantially faster. My track is similar to old school with dirt and grass, but the jumps are a little bigger than what you'd see int he 80's.

Performance with this motor is great and it's fast enough to jump far. I don't think the stock chassis will handle well with much more power than this motor as it's already limited by the geometry of the suspension. It needs rear toe in to become more predictable. Narrower front tires would probably be a good idea as well. The CG is too high to be a real racer but it's a fun car to bash around with. It very frequently ends up on its roof after jumps but I managed to capture some good track shots of the car for this video. The shocks seem too light on the damping for jumping like this but they are fine for rough terrain riding. A modern buggy is so much more planted and predictable on a track.
