🎙️ The Legendary Talkbox Sound — Reimagined 🎙️
We’re proud to reintroduce one of the most iconic vocal effects in music history: the unmistakable sound of the Talkbox® — now completely rebuilt from the ground up using our powerful Pure Synth® Platinum engine.
This isn’t just a re-release — it’s a total reinvention of our original Version 1 (previously available through UVI Workstation). By leveraging our latest synthesis and sampling technology, we’ve captured the soul and nuance of the classic Talkbox like never before.
Below we will describe the different sound and synthesis sections that make up the library:
• Phrases and Vowels - These are your monophonic Ooohs and Aaahs vowels and phrases that are programmed to be played monophonically with some glide.
• Polyphonic Chords - These are custom EQ'ed presets to allow you to play chords. The same lead sounds don't sound good playing chords, so these templates allow you to play full chords without that high pitched plastic sibilance.
• Keyswitches - Allow you to use custom keyswitches to switch between sounds (Red More Below).
• Official Talkbox Patches - These are the Certified Official Talkbox patches from the DX100 that you can use to run into your own hardware talkbox to get the authentic sound (See How To Tab)
• Leads and Sounds - Classic Lead and other sounds from the DX100 and other synths from that funk era
• Synths and Polys - Classic Synth brass and poly sounds for the funk sound.
• Synth Bass - Custom funk synth bass patches mimicking the funk era
• Glide Patches - Modern Glide patches using the talkbox for chording.
