Let's review each episode of the classic Cartoon Network cartoon Ed Ed n Eddy Cartoon Network in under a minute!
Transcript:
Tag Yer Ed is somewhat favored by fans. Though mostly for the last half. The first half features an overly long and overall meh opening with the Eds trying to eat cereal, but having no milk, and no desire to get it out of a cow. What follows is basically A Pinch To Grow an Ed, where like how Eddy was mocked for being short, Double-D's mocked for being weak, so Ed and Eddy try to help him gain some muscle. It ends exactly like every other "nerd who's trying to exercise" routine in comedy media. So to win back Double-D's confidence, Eddy advertises him as a wrestler. And what fans mostly remember about this episode. Double-D as his wrestling alter-ego the Masked Mumbler. Which, yeah, give him credit, the costume is pretty memorable. Though I hope he washed that plunger. After a one-sided fight with Plank, the Kankers show up and Eddy challenges them to a fight. And the rest of the runtime is the wrestling match, with the outcome exactly what you think it is. But even though we know the winner, it's still a fun and funny sequence, and one of the best Kanker appearances, as they show off some great gag wrestling moves. Including using Eddy as an accordion to polka. So while most of the episode is boring, this last bit is worth the wait, and has resulted in one of the most fan beloved character variations of the show. As well as a fun Cartoon Network browser game back in the day.
