Broken noses are a common injury in the event of a crash. To combat receiving facial fractures, TAC’s interactive sculpture Graham was designed with a rather flat face.

Graham is the collaboration between the TAC, leading trauma surgeon Christian Kenfield, crash investigator expert David Logan and world-renowned artist Patricia Piccinini.

His nose is reduced and his ears are protected by the larger structure of his skull and neck. Fatty tissue has been added around protruding areas like his cheekbones to help further absorb the energy on impact.
