Here's the backstory:
Calliope (the cyclops) lived in a small, wooden village along with Myrmi (the sheep creature, his name is pronounced meer-me). Calliope wasn't that popular in the village, but Myrmi took a liking to her. Soon after they met, they started dating each other and were in love.
Though, unbeknownst to them, a beast was awakening. This beast was known as the Ash Dragon. The Ash Dragon was trapped in a tomb, which had magical crystals surrounding it that controls how much time the dragon is trapped, the amount of time being about 150 or so years. But after many and many years, the crystals were beginning to lose their powers and he was beginning to awaken earlier and earlier. It had been only 50 years since the dragon's last attack that he awoke once again and attacked Calliope's village. The dragon's breath is very dangerous and lethal. His breath consists of extremely hot ash and when the ash comes in contact with something, that something will disintegrate. How much they disintegrate depends on how much ash hits them. In the attack, Myrmi lost his eyesight due to pieces of ash landing in his eyes. Before going completely blind, the sheep sought refuge in a nearby cave. Calliope was left knocked out due to a piece of a building landing on her head.
A day later, Amanita (the mushroom girl from the Estranger meme) found Calliope thanks to her pet Grub sniffing her out while she was out exploring, and brought Calliope to her house. Amanita helped Calliope by giving her food and water and even fixed her dress, since it was ripped after the attack (Amanita loves stitching together clothes, so she was able to fix her dress well!). Calliope suffered from amnesia, and couldn't remember much of her past. All she knows was there was a beast that destroyed her home, and there was someone she loved. She couldn't remember who. Calliope later built herself a small cabin in a pinewood forest where she now lives peacefully. She also dyed her hair blue and found that wearing face paint is enjoyable to her. Amanita often visits her, and Calliope met many peaceful, wild creatures there who ended up being her friends as well. Though, while in the forest, she remembers more and more about her past and one day will leave her house to find the one she had loved.

Monster High Animation Meme (Moshi Monsters / Halloween Special!) - Firealpaca

Psych Out10 2024-10-31 | wwwWWAHH IM SO HAPPY I GOT THIS DONEEE I started working on this on the 20th and finished it on the 30th (with a one day break, so technically 9 days total), and put a lot of sweat and tears into this ;v; This is probably the quickest I've animated an animation of this complexity, and I'm really proud of myself!!

I am so happy with how this turned out!! For the dance at 0:18, I referenced the dance that katsumas (the species my character is) do in-game when they level up, except mine is a bit more simplified. Also, I figured out how to do tweened animation in Davinci Resolve!!! Which I'm so happy about!! This animation was my first attempt at tweening that wasn't manually done! (Technically my second attempt, as I did try tweening a few months ago on an animation that never got completed, but I couldn't really figure out how to do it 100% how I wanted.) (I'm referring to tweened character animation here, and not moving text/elements, as I've done that before, if that makes sense -v-")

If you'd like to know my thought process before making this, a week or so after I saw the original meme, I was just like "wait... Halloween... Monster High... Monster... Moshi Monster... MOSHI MONSTERS HALLOWEEN ANIMATION!!!" and then I proceeded to blow up into a pile of confetti.

Also, this OC is named Doggy!! She's the monster I play as in Moshi Online (and had played as on the OG Moshi Monsters) and I love her to bits and pieces. She's in her Halloween outfit in this animation, but I'm sure I'll probably do an animation of her usual outfit/design in the future, as she's currently one of my favorite OCs to draw at the moment hehe ):3

Bunny Party Animation Meme (Mass Artfight Attack!) - Firealpaca

Psych Out10 2024-07-24 | WOOO MY FIRST MASS ATTACK!! And it's an animated one too!! :D

I'm so surprised with myself, I usually take so long to make animations with this level of detail and with this many characters in it, but I decided to challenge myself this month to try and make an animation with multiple OCs, and managed to make this!!

This animation helped me learn how to not overthink too much about what each individual frame looks like, and was also a good opportunity in animating with a solid deadline (since Artfight ends in August), as I've never done that before. So, all in all this was a fun challenge and a great learning experience!!

I'm really happy with this! I hope you all like it!! ^v^

Taste of Blood Animation Meme - Firealpaca

Psych Out10 2024-05-05 | WOOOOO new character time!! Well, kinda new, anyway. I made them in 2020 and haven't shown them off before until now. Better late than never I suppose lol

Anyway, this is Moth! They technically have no name, but that's at least what they are referred as in their story. What also doesn't technically have a name yet is the fantasy world that I've been working on since also 2020, which is where they reside in... I'll name it eventually, probably. Maybe. Someday. Yes. (btw as a side note: wow this world and set of OCs (Moth, Calliope, Amanita, etc.) have survived longer on this channel than any other story or set of OCs ever have lol (excluding my fursona, anyway))

Moth is one of the main antagonists in the fantasy world! I'm not sure if I want to give too much away yet, as I'm writing a lot of stuff out in the background like worldbuilding and characterization, so stuff may be changed. However, Moth may or may not want the Ash Dragon to be released from its tomb permanently and destroy the planet... but you didn't hear that from me ;3 (for context, the Ash Dragon was mentioned in this video: youtube.com/watch?v=T8m8wNE92X4&ab_channel=PsychOut10)

I think I'm slowly getting the hang of editing! I even messed around with some greenscreen at the beginning, with the title ):D Technically this isn't the first time I've messed with greenscreen. I have an incomplete animation I made a couple months ago where I figured out how to greenscreen for the first time, and it took roughly like 5 hours to figure out how to do it properly,,, only to realize my greenscreen wasn't working properly for those said 5 hours all because I didn't press one funny little button in the editing program. That was a fun time :')

I'm really happy with how the purple fumes came out in the animation!! ^v^ Oh and speaking of animations, I'm still working on that Icecri animation that I mentioned in my community tab! It's gonna take a little longer though as it has a bit more animation in it than this video.

Also, I got out of that weird dumb funk I was in (that I mentioned a little last video)!! I'm really glad, that was really annoying affdsfjakslsd,,, I'm sorry if I possibly worried anyone with that update by the way!! That's never my intentions when sharing updates ;; I'm not sure if I did, but I wanted to apologize anyway just in case.

Psych Out10 2023-05-08 | WEEE HELLO EVERYONE!! IT'S BEEN A MINUTE :D I have some updates to share before I start talking about the video!

I was on DeviantArt originally a whileee ago, back in like 2014 or 2015? My accounts have since been deactivated, but I wanted to try DA out again, so I made a new one semi-recently!
At the moment, I am more active on DA than I am on Instagram, and that is because of some mental health issues of mine. Weirdly enough when I switched accounts on Insta, my brain started taking it a bit too seriously instead of just having fun with it, and I started to lose a lot of motivation to draw or do anything really. I've already taken a break from Instagram a few months ago, but I didn't take it for long enough, so I've been inactive again on there. So, you can see my newer art on DeviantArt for now! Alrighty, important updates outta the way, time to ramble about my animation! c:(
Your eyes did not deceive you when you read the title, I made this in Firealpaca (and also Davinci Resolve)!! Meaning... I animated on PC!!! ):DD woo!! Last November I was able to get my own PC, so I've been able to download whatever I want (since previously I was borrowing my parents' laptops), within reason obviously lol. So, I got an editing program and this is the first animation meme I've completed using it!! I'm very happy with it! The video is in 60 FPS, but my character's animation acts like 20 FPS. Oh, also, this character is named Zomz! There's no secret backstory happening in this animation, nor does he really have any backstory, I just wanted to animate him doin' a happy 'n sad jig.

I'm not sure why the background looks kinda grainy? It doesn't look like that in the original file, but oh well. It's probably a rendering issue that I need to look into. I also made the audio deeper than normal c: And for the thumbnail, instead of drawing something new like I usually do, I thought I'd just take a frame from the animation and edit it into a thumbnail instead. Let me know what you think!

*Small Flash Warning* Memory Tuner Animation Meme (Character Info in Description) - Flipaclip

Psych Out10 2022-02-24 | Sooo uh, you remember that one community post I made? Back in April of last year? About how how I was making an animation with these two characters and about how it was probably going to be done "in the next few weeks"? Yeaahhh... that was about this animation lol
Why did this animation take so long? Low motivation and a lot of procrastination- xP But I was determined to finish this thing if it was the last thing I did, and so I finally finished it -v-"

Welp anyway, here's some info about these characters:
The wolf OC featured in this animation is named Rime, and the blue creature OC is named Icecri! Icecri and Rime live together in a cabin in a snowy environment. Icecri is a researcher and explorer, and is quite popular in the world (still need to figure out a name for the planet-). He tries his best in educating the people of the world about all sorts of things with his research by creating books about those said things! He also interviews folk when he would like more information. In this animation, you can see some notes he took from an important interview, and a personal notebook he borrowed from his interviewee. :)
Rime helps and accompanies Icecri in his research. Though Icecri does most of the work, Rime does his best to help in any way he can.

Estranger Animation Meme - Flipaclip

Psych Out10 2021-01-06 | Yeee I finally made a meme dedicated to my OC Amanita! :D
Originally I was thinking of using my OC Spirit (from the Slow Burn animation) for this, but then I realized I never made an animation based around Amanita, so I used her instead!
A lil fun fact about her, if you noticed in my Slow Burn animation, Amanita doesn't have legs. She moves sort of like how a snail moves (but she's much quicker than a snail, she moves just a little slower than the average speed of a human walking), and she runs by bouncing. Grub moves in a similar fashion!

Anyway, here's a new character! :D I made this guy around April and have been developing his story since, so he's got a lot of story I haven't shared. I won't share it yet though, since there's still a few things I need to work out in it first.
This animation shows a little glimpse into his childhood, and shows a little about what's to come to him in the future (the crystal at the end is a hint at what happens to him in the future).
The character with his back turned at 0:15 is his father, who adopted him. These guys don't have names yet.

Serene Moments Animation Meme - Flipaclip

I think the flower crown alone took like 6 hours :'D I could've made it simpler looking or just tweened it, but I wanted to challenge myself and purposefully made the flower crown detailed. And b o y was it a challenge-

Anyway, this is Mari (pronounced like Mary)! Mari lives inside a mountain that has a large hole in the ceiling, giving it a bowl-like shape. She's a mystical being that can create shapes using her golden magic. Mari can also use her magic to make wishes come true, which is what she is widely known for. She only shows her eyes when she grants a wish, and she has a quiet voice.
Some people refuse to believe such a magical being could exist on the planet, and thus does not think she's real. Many others believe she is real, and only a few try and seek her out to make their wish a reality. Some even think she is a god of some sort.
Mari does not grant every wish that comes her way. If she was asked to grant a wish that may do some sort of harm to the wisher or someone else, she wouldn't make it come true. Catch is, her granted wishes usually only lasts for 24 hours, though she can make exceptions. (Some of this information may change or be adjusted in the future, as I've made her fairly recently.)
Also I'd like to clarify something. All of the new OCs I've been introducing are not at all connected to the universe I made of my older OCs (Rylo, Orbix, Guardiox, Aken, Tuthu, Polius, etc.). This is a brand new universe of OCs (which just has this one planet of OCs). That being said, there will be no guardians (guardians are basically another word for gods in my older OC universe, though guardians are a little different from gods) for this universe or this planet, but there may be higher powers of some sort in the future, who knows. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh also I switched over to a newer phone to animate, which is why the watermark changed (the watermark's been needing an update anyway). That's also why the line art may look a little more smoother than normal, my older phone's screen made it sorta difficult to draw on and sometimes made the line art look wobbly. C':
Anywho, here's a list of info about this new blue boi, Spirit!:
1. When extremely angry, Spirit turns red. When he's very sad, he turns into a gray-blue. And when he's unconscious/asleep, he turns into a gray-purple. Spirit is a very calm and docile creature, so he doesn't show his red and blue colors often.
2. In complete darkness, Spirit glows in the dark.
3. Spirit is friends with Amanita, the mushroom girl you briefly may have seen in the last animation! (Most people call her by her nickname Nita.)
4. If someone tries and pets his tail, their hand will go straight through it. Upon contact, his tail feels like an icy breeze. This airy feeling can change depending on if he's feeling normal, angry, sad, or if he's unconscious/asleep.
5. Spirit is mute, so he communicates through body language.

Goodnight Animation Meme (Backstory in Description) - Flipaclip

I've been working on a new world for about a month or two now, and these two characters are from there! I've been nicknaming it my "fantasy world" for now until I come up with a name for it (all of the worlds I created are fantasy, but this one focuses on fantasy creatures (like dragons, golems, etc.) and fantasy elements more so than the others, which is why I'm nicknaming it the "fantasy world")
I'm going to be taking a break from writing about my other OCs (like Orbix or Rylo) for a little bit and work on the characters from this world instead. I've just been having a lot more fun working on these characters than I have with my other characters, plus Rylo's story has been stuck at the same point for like... a solid 8 months or so, and Orbix's story has been starting to fall into the same hole. I just dont really know what to do with their stories, so I'll be taking a break from them.

Anyway, time to introduce these two! The green worm is named Grub, and the mushroom lady does not have a name yet (I'll be nicknaming her Mushroom for the sake of the description).
Grub is only a little smarter than your average big dog (like a golden retriever). He has been known for barging into other people's home and looking around. He had a good intent, he just wanted to make friends, but obviously others did not see his good intention. It got to the point where he would start to rummage through other's food. He didn't really realize what he was doing was bad until people started to yell at him. One word people started calling him was "pest." Grub can understand most words, so this hurt him.
One day, Grub was found moping around by Mushroom. Word had gotten out to her that the "pest" was something you should kick out immediately, but she thought otherwise, and instead gave him a chance. She invited him to her mushroom forest, where they now both happily live. :D

Anywho, here's a meme that features all of the guardian OCs I have thus far in their True Forms! The goat/deer is the Neo-Guardian I mentioned in my Heinous animation meme that Aken killed, which in return gave her more power. I haven't given a name to him yet.
Even though he's dead, I still have a lot in store for him, and how he will influence my other characters that I'm also working on (Orbix, Rylo, etc.).

I've been working on their True Form designs for a little while now, and I'm really proud on how they look!!

Delirium (Gift for Splatie Cat) - Flipaclip

Psych Out10 2020-01-20 | Made another gift for Splatie Cat! :D I really like the backstory she wrote for Blaze (the black and red cat), and so I thought I would animate a thing based off of it!
I experimented with movement a lot with this one, and I'm really proud on how it turned out! Btw, the part 0:08 at is supposed to represent the fact that Blaze is half dead and half emotionless.
I adjusted Blaze's colors a little bit so that you could see the linart easier. Also, I'm hoping I got Peach's (the white and pink cat) design at least a little accurate lol.

Promiseland MAP (Part 10 | Backstory In Description) - Flipaclip

Psych Out10 2019-10-16 | This is a MAP part for Blaize Nova! :D The MAP has actually recently been completed, the link to it can be found below!
Anyway, onto the backstory of this new gorl:
Anne was a popular photographer in Toeaka. She was given many deals in newspapers and magazines. Everybody loved her work.
Though, one day, something changed.
Anne started to hallucinate. Instead of seeing a nice, pretty world everyday, she saw a dreadful, ugly world. Anne didn't believe she was hallucinating, though. She thought she was seeing the world how it truly was. This theory would explain and solve many mysteries that Bhora faced, she had thought, such as the fact that everyone's lifespan was decreasing fairly quickly. During her hallucinations, she saw how disgusting and rotten the food everyone was eating was. Which could explain the lifespan issue.
Her life started to fall apart as soon as she publicly stated her opinion. Even though others had gone through the same hallucinations as her, they were convinced to get an extra dosage of Pink Blood, and then they were fine (Note: Pink Blood is something everyone gets injected with at birth. It is what makes everyone brainwashed, though no one (not even the doctors) knows they're being brainwashed). She was the first ever person to suggest that everyone was being brainwashed, and everyone thought she had gone mad. She refused all help from doctors, and continued to share her controversial opinion. News articles about her were made and spread like wildfire, talking about all of her crazed opinions.
After months of this turmoil, Anne had enough. She would prove to them all that they were being brainwashed. She theorized that there was a creature out there that started this all, and so she set out with her camera to find it.
That didn't end well.
Days into the thick pine tree forest, she had a feeling she was being watched, though she couldn't see who was watching her. She continued to tread through the brush when she came across a worn-down trapdoor on the grassy floor. Anne immediately took out her camera to take a picture of it, it had to be the creature's base! But before she could, something appeared in front of her. She yelped and looked straight up at it, taking a smeared, blurry picture in the process.
The strange, dark gray creature had four soulless, red beady eyes, and wore a strange, white cloak with a maroon and gold ribbon at the front. Fixated in the center of the ribbon was a glistening amber jewel.
It was The Mastermind himself. He killed Anne as soon as he saw her. (The Mastermind can be seen at the end of my Crying On The Outside meme)
Anne couldn't remember herself dying, but she did, as she was in Aken's treacherous afterlife. Her body started decaying and melting away, her eyes first. (This happens to all spirits who end up in this afterlife. Those who disrespect Aken's worlds and/or does not worship Aken ends up here)

Anne's disappearance and death had only sparked more confusion in Bhora's mysteries, but her story influenced Rylo's decisions and opinions about the world tenfold.

Here's some info about the blue character, Luin (pronounced Loo-in):
Luin lives in the town Toeaka (pronounced Toe-ayy-kuh), and runs a library there, which Rylo frequently visits. Luin is one of Rylo's only friends. Rylo had once said he "sees the real world" and had claimed he saw his family dead in front on his own eyes. However, Luin cannot see what Rylo sees, as with almost all the brainwashed people in town, so he just assumes Rylo has some sort of mental disability, and tries his best to help him. Luin occasionally suggests to Rylo that he should consider seeking professional help, which Rylo never does, as he knows that the people of the town are most likely brainwashed, and he's the only one who can truly see the world how it actually is.

Cant Handle Change Animation Meme - Flipaclip

Psych Out10 2018-12-30 | So I noticed with the animations I've been working on on Flipaclip, that I was pushing myself too hard to make it have the same smoothness as my flipnotes, despite me not knowing the app well, which made me unmotivated to do frame-by-frame animations. So, because of this, I've decided to kind of down grade my animations by using a lower frame rate, and tweening some parts of the character's body (like the head or the hands/paws) until I'm more comfortable with Flipaclip and drawing with my finger. Rylo (the only character in the video), as mentioned above, is brainwashed. His family was also brainwashed, and due to this, died by not being aware of what was actually happening in the world. However, Rylo's body has been slowly coming to the realization that the pink liquid that's making him brainwashed is probably not a good thing. So, his body has been fighting it off. And because of this, Rylo has been occasionally seeing the real world, and not the fake world the liquid wants him to see.

Diamonds And Gold - Flipaclip

Psych Out10 2018-12-11 | I got Flipaclip!! :D Now I can make videos in somewhat better quality, and I can do animations that are longer than one minute!

I just realized at 0:00, the part with Guardiox (the yellow fennec fox), there's little flashes of white. I didn't realize that until just now. Sorry if that bothers anyone. :C

Some of the frames may look a little wonky, due to the fact that I'm not used to drawing with a finger. Sorry about that.

This isn't the best, but for one of my first ever Flipaclip animations, I'm really proud of it!

Sorry for not uploading for a month, I just haven't had a lot of motivation to animate on Flipnote 3D lately. However, my motivation has been slowly coming back after animating on Flipaclip! :D I think that's because Flipnote was getting a little stale for me. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Flipnote 3D, I just wanted to try out something new.

Happy Halloween Animation Meme - Flipnote 3D

Psych Out10 2018-10-30 | I know this is a day early, but meh

I had to use 7 speed (12 FPS) for this animation, since I knew I wouldn't have enough space if I did 8 speed (20 FPS), and it was a p a i n since I'm used to doing 8 speed. I was kinda lazy with the part where the ghosts were moving up and down-
Overall though, I'm pretty happy on how it turned out! :D Also if you can't tell, Glutton (the large black and purple cat) was holding a candy bag at 0:17, and my fursona at the end of the video was wearing a grim reaper cloak.

Dont You Look Back (Backstory In The Description) - Flipnote 3D

Psych Out10 2018-10-22 | EDIT: A lot of the backstory I wrote this has changed a ton, and I wouldn't recommend you read this to learn about my characters.

Despite this animation just mostly being symbolism, it actually has some backstory. Also kinda off topic but my birthday is coming really soon and I'm hYpEd- (it's on October 29th, in case you were wondering c;)

AnywAy here's the backstory:
To know the story, you'll need some context. One of my Guardian (The gods in my OC universe are called Guardians) OCs, Guardiox (Guardiox is the yellow fennec fox at 0:34 in this video: youtube.com/watch?v=S1eWgx-xbQE) has a galaxy that most of my OCs live in, which is named Sollune. Aken, an Anti-Guardian/The Devil (Aken is the red cat at 0:34 in the same video mentioned before), would always terrorize Sollune by mentally and/or physically hurting the residents, as an Anti-Guardian would do.

However, over many decades, Aken grew jealous. She wanted her own universe as well, she thought it would be fun to be praised for once.

And so, she made her own.

Aken's galaxy was named Marfuega, and she planned to make living there terrifyingly miserable. From everyone being brain washed, to people who lived in planets with uninhabitable conditions, every planet had something wrong with it. Aken knew that she could not take "care" of this galaxy all by herself, so she made a crow named Tuthu who helped to make sure the planets were all running "smoothly." But then, Aken grew a twisted idea. What if she made a realm with one creature that inhabited it, whose goal was to find a world that was peaceful enough to live in, but the thing is there was no peaceful world to live in? That's where Orbix comes in (the character in the beginning of the video).

Orbix was put into the realm, (the realm looks like this: instagram.com/p/Bnzi0omhUGC/?taken-by=psychout10) to, as mentioned before, find a peaceful home. The realm was named Terrafall, and occasionally would spawn in portals that led to different worlds, which Orbix could visit. However, the only way Orbix could leave a world and return to Terrafall, would be by somehow dying in the world.

In the realm, there is a large rectangular platform that Orbix sits on. Below the platform is a pit that seems to go for miles. In the pit, Orbix could see hands reaching up to him. The hands are actually people who were in Orbix's spot before, who gave up trying to find a peaceful world, and jumped into the pit. The hands are known as The Fallen. The Fallen believe in a nice guardian, and believe that maybe one day that the good guardian would come to save them. However, their beliefs are just reaching for nothing, because Guardiox, the good guardian they believe in, doesn't know how to get to Aken's galaxy.

One of the portals Orbix went into led him into a world named Bhora. Everyone who lived in Bhora was brainwashed, and when I say brainwashed, I mean all of their five senses had been altered. For instance, in one town there is a public pool. They may see, smell, feel, and hear a nice, cool pool. But in reality, the pool has very disgusting, unhealthy water, that has a monster that lurks at the bottom of the pool which, if a person swims low enough, will be eaten. However, the residents of course don't know if someone has died, they just assume that they went missing.

How did the residents of Bhora even get brainwashed in the first place, you might be wondering? Well, it was Aken's doing. Aken placed a capsule on the planet that contained a strange, pink liquid. If someone put the liquid in their body, they would be brainwashed. The first person to be brainwashed somehow convinced the doctors of the planet that the liquid was healthy for the body's blood. And so, every time someone was born, the doctors put the liquid through the young one's blood stream. Years of doing this ended up in the whole world being brainwashed.

Until Guardiox can one day find a way to save all the kind souls from Marfeuga, there those souls will stay, forever stay in agony.

Some small facts:
1. Just like how we have symbols for certain religions, Aken and Guardiox also have symbols. Guardiox's symbol looks like the one at 0:08, and Aken's looks like the one at 0:10.
2. (EDIT: This fact no longer fits Orbix's backstory, so I've removed it.)
