This was an idea I've had for SO long now, but I was never confident that it'd turn out well, but since today is the 4 year anniversary of BITBC's first episode, I figured now's a better time than ever to make it. AND IM SO HAPPY I DID :D

I am so damn happy I made her, and it's funny too because when I was first making her I was scared of how her design would be received. I was so worried about people disliking the colors, or the fact that I made her an alicorn, but ever since a day after her creation I've received so many positive comments and art of her, and seeing all of it over the last 4 years has just made me so incredibly happy, beyond what my words can describe. Not to mention drawing her is an absolute delight, as long as it takes me xD

I'm gonna be real, despite the same amount of time passing with this and my season 1 reaction, i am shocked that it felt like i got this done in no time. Both reactions took at least 2 weeks of near nonstop editing, yet somehow it felt like SO much shorter. xD

If you read through the "time cards," you probably noticed me mention that I took the editing of this video more casually than other reactions, like season 1 or perfect holiday. I think this is a tactic that I'll put into use from here on out, because sometimes I just either CAN'T edit (hence 1:51:43) or I just don't want to. Sometimes I just want to edit other things and forcing myself against that would probably cause me to feel burnt out. So yeah, this probably shouldn't have taken 2 weeks to edit but honestly im fine with one of the reasons as to why it did :P

I'm not gonna lie, at some point I had predicted this would be over 2 hours, but it STILL surprises me... but considering the original recording was 3 and a half hours long, that kind of doesn't shock me either.

Anyways, thank you guys so much for the support you've given me during the making of this video. I know I've said that 3 times within the past ~48 hours, but seriously I mean it. Genuinely, yall are AWESOME. 💜

This is REALLY late because I spent like 30+ minutes looking for a specific base only to then realize I didn't even want to use it. So that was fun and definitely not a waste of time...
Not to mention this would've included more of her OCs (pretty much just the list of them that I've wanted to draw for a while) but I couldn't find good bases to really make a big scene drawing, so I had to settle on something smaller scale.

The mane 6 were all relaxing in Twilight's castle, all waiting with anticipation for the firework show to kick off the new year to start. Icing was the first pony to hear them.

"Everypony!! Come outside!!" Icing yelled with excitement.
"What? What is it?" Blitz asked, inquisitively.
"The fireworks started, the fireworks started!! Come out here!!" Icing couldn't help but run out to the field out of sheer excitement. Soon, everypony else ran outside as well.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYPONY!!!" Icing shouted.

"Happy new year everypony. I love you all!" Starry said.
"I love you too~" Rose said, specifically looking toward Starry as they said it.
"Was that referring to all of us, or just Starry?" Cinnamon asked, grinning toward Rose.
Rosemary blushed. "I-it was towards everypony! Honestly..."
"It was to me. But they love you all just as much." Starry said, flirting.
"STARRY!" Rose screamed, embarrassed.
Starry let out a soft laugh, making Rose melt on the inside of cuteness. "Loosen up a bit, Rosy~" She said, still laughing.

Meanwhile, Nightshade, Nova, and Sapphire were out in the grassy field near Canterlot. Nova was very worried.

"Nightshade, are you SURE you'll be ok setting off all these colored fireworks? This is a very complex spell, y'know!"
"Relax, dearie. I appreciate thy worrying, yet trust me dear Nova, I'll be fine. I've got skill when it comes to magic."
"Yeah, relax a little Nova. I've known Nightie for a good while by now; she's got this. And she looks fantastic doing it~" Mystique blushed as they said that. Nova trotted to them and waved her hoof in front of their face.
"Snap out of it, Sapph! She could seriously get herself hurt if she performed this spell for too long!"
Sapphire physically moved Nova out of the way. "You're distracting me from the show."
"Do you mean the firework show?"
"No."

Managed to get a big Christmas-themed drawing out just like I wanted. And on Christmas Eve too :) Very content with how my Christmas specials have been.

I kind of struggled deciding what scenario to even draw here, like yeah it was just some characters hanging out celebrating Hearthswarming, but not only did I have a mini struggle trying to decide what bases to use, I also struggled trying to decide which characters to draw. I eventually just caved in and just drew the mane 6 couples :P
This was definitely the best choice, as shockingly it's been over a YEAR since I've drawn Amethyst :O
No idea how the hell it's been so long...

I watched the speedpaint a few days ago and thought of redrawing it, especially since these two's designs have changed quite a bit in the past 2 years.

As much as I like this drawing and think it's an improvement over 2022, I cannot point out how annoying this was to draw. This took an hour and 20 minutes, and I'm so serious when I say that most of that was tweaking the hair to make sure it looked good. I still think it's slightly off but oh well, I can't be bothered anymore

[This takes place before Starry and Rosemary were a couple]

Starry and Rose were walking through Ponyville; both a little tired as they had just finished working together on a small construction project.

Rose: "Phew! Thanks a lot for your assistance, Starry."
Starry: "Not a problem at all! I'm always glad to help out a fellow... f-friend of mine."
Rose: "Don't we make such an awesome team together?"
They say as they slightly nudge Starry a bit. This causes Starry's entire face to turn red, flustered. Rose didn't know about Starry's big crush on them.
Starry, flustered: "Heh... o-of course we do! We should uh... team up together more, w-whaddya think?"
Rose: "I'd be delighted to! You're a great partner."
Starry, in her thoughts: "P-partner...? Oh sweet Celestia are they aware?? A-are they a mindreader or something?"
Starry just stood there flustered to the point she couldn't even form coherent words anymore. Rose says goodbye and walks off.

Unbeknownst to them both, Icing was watching from afar, eavesdropping on their conversation.

Later that afternoon, Starry took a trip to the spa to relax a bit. Strawberry Icing was there too, and he happened to notice Starry.

Icing: "So... about Rose huh?"
Starry's face instantly turned red again. "Heh, yeah! W-what about them, exactly?"
Icing: "Well I've heard they're a real good 'friend,' huh?"
Starry starts skittishly laughing. "Yeah, t-they're a very nice partner... I- I MEAN FRIEND!"
The two lock eyes for a second. Icing is giving Starry a wide grin.
Starry: "*sighs* You know, don't you?"
Icing: "Yep! Overheard you guys' conversation. That and you're not very good at hiding feelings anyway."
Starry: "You did wh-"
Icing immediately covers Starry's mouth, shushing her in the process. "It's alright girl, I got you. I won't tell anypony."
Starry: "Promise?"
Icing starts to recite her mom's Pinkie Promise. "Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my-"
Starry stops him before the last word, holding his hoof in place. "Alright alright I believe you! Just... don't actually stick your hoof in your eye please."
Icing gives her a soft nod.

well i definitely wasn't expecting to write a full story to this one, but oh well. XD
Unintentionally a spiritual remake of that old Starry's Crush story i made in 2020, and then tried remaking in 2021 to no avail.
I mean i guess it's technically not a remake? An inspiration i guess? Loosely based on the events of? I dunno man.

I was finally able to think of a redesign I liked for Icing! it did result in a name change, but honestly I don't mind. she was definitely more than due for one anyway (Her name has stayed the same since she was first made in february 2020 Dx)

Honestly I'd argue the second panel's got some of my best lighting yet. Really happy with it :)

Also I definitely didn't make this because I've been watching Pastel Night's speedpaints all day today and this was started after watching her 2020 hearts and hooves day speedpaint, and I decided that I should draw my mane 6 couples more because I haven't done so in a long time. Who keeps telling you all of this falsified information.

[StarryVerse] Argument (MLP Next Gen Speedpaint)

Had to give these two a redesign again... I wasn't happy with their 2023 redesigns anymore, and I had already redesigned Stormy and Ivory this year, so...

Rosebud didn't need that big a redesign as she already looked good; all I did with her is just slightly alter some colors / her hairstyle, but I am REALLY happy with how Cranberry's design looks! It definitely took more tweaking than usual (you'll see some of it if you actually watch the video) but I'm definitely very happy with the end result. :)

[StarryVerse] Polar Opposites (MLP Next Gen Speedpaint)

Rosemary's not as one would expect; despite being one of the new mane 6 and Fluttershy's first kid, they're actually not very fond of animals at all. Meanwhile their sister Chaotic loves them with all her heart.

VERY impromptu Fluttershy redesign... probably likely to change but considering how little I draw them in my NG, probably not.

Chaotic is an adopt I made back in 2021, initially belonging to @/LavenderPetal7 (she deactivated her da account) but with her loss of interest in MLP, I decided to take this design back and redesign it a bit. The colors might be a bit all over the place, but honestly I like it :D definitely exemplifies the "chaotic" part of her name LOL

As mentioned above there is a very good chance I'll redesign Fluttershy again, this one was done kind of haphazardly, but for now it's staying. No idea when that potential redesign will happen, but unrelated news, I DID find my old broken laptop (from April 2021 - 2022), so hopefully I can get its screen fixed eventually and start working on refs again! WE FINNA BE SO BACK!! :D (I hope)

Also this definitely was not inspired by Pastel Night. I definitely have not been feeling nostalgic and watching all of her speedpaints again. Who told you that.
