I didn't upload this and type my description right after October ended, and now I don't even know what happened way back then. X'D

Work for sure. Checking photos to see what else did. XD

So October 1st was the baby shower for my little nephew! We drove out to where her parents live. I took a lot of photos for them on the camera and it was all very cute. The restaurant that we ate at afterward gave all of us some food poisoning. Originally my great aunt and uncle were going too, but they couldn't find someone to watch their dogs and had to cancel. This gave us an extra hotel room, and I got my own room for the night!!!!! Which will basically never happen again I'm sure lol
I did a face mask and did homework, then passed out. That's it. I didn't even get to edit or watch a movie rip
Then in the morning, my mom and grandpa got to meet with I believe my grandpa's cousin like once removed???? But anyway, they met up with her for the first time ever and did some genealogy stuff! My mom found her because of that, and she had some photos of people that my mom had never seen before (like great-great-grandparents and stuff).

October 9th was my mom's birthday, so we went out to eat for that! Thankfully it was on a Sunday so I was off from work.

On October 20th, my sister-in-law's water broke while she was at the baby shower that her co-workers did for her! (I also think I may have checked out the lady at Hobby Lobby who got some of the stuff because it was elephant themed and there was a diaper cake, which the customer had mentioned lol). Anyway, there were many problems with getting her to the hospital. She called my brother, who had to call my mom and ask her to pick him up because my sister-in-law had both sets of car keys. So she drove him to her work, and he was kinda frazzled. It would have been like 30 minutes faster if he had asked our grandpa to drive him. So then they took her car to the hospital, and my mom was following part way since it was her way home. He almost took the wrong exit, but my mom called him. Then he almost did it again and she was like !!!!!. He was getting frustrated, so they started to follow the map and had the wrong hospital. They got there in the end though! X'D

She stayed and had my little baby nephew a little under 24 hours later on the 21st. He is very tiny, and I got to leave work for about two hours and hold him for a little while. Then I helped the next day with packing up the hospital room, and my brother and I struggled with the car seat. We had to call her mom and then sister for them to tell us how to get it out of the car/off the base. The lever was covered up and I was just like, "wrong lever, Kronk!" XD

We got to see little baby on the 24th and 27th for a while, but my brother and sister-in-law are really worried about RSV now and I haven't been able to see him since (other than at a distance on Thanksgiving).

On the 31st, I got off of work at 6PM, so went home and handed out just a bit of candy. We didn't have very many trick or treaters this year, and most of them came around before I got home. One boy asked my mom when she handed out candy, "Are you my grandma's sister?"
My mom said, "Well is your grandma nice?" and of course he said yes, so she said, "No but I would be honored to be her sister" (or something like that, slightly different phrasing lol)

Then my grandpa wasn't answering his phone, so we drove to his place and I got to see his Ragdoll babies. His older one, General, is over 11 pounds now! Admiral doesn't like new people and hides, so we didn't see him much.

That was October really.... plus lots of customers at work. I don't remember anything specific about them though, only just a lottttttt of Christmas decorations and a good amount of glitter. There was also some drama with co-workers because of the pitch-in we did. The first week of October was 40 hours, then 42.5 hours, 43.5 hours, and 44.5 hours for the last week. (We worked 56.5 hours for this last week.)

Oh! I also finished my chemistry II class! I got a B in the end and did pretty awful on the final. Everything was finished though! I'll talk about my "next" class in November's collection.

Right now work is very slowly killing me, and I kinda want to cry every time a customer asks the same three questions over and over... Where's the restroom, is this on sale, and when does the Christmas sale end? Also where is _______? but that one isn't too bad as long as I know where the item is.

As I said last year, Halloween gets more disappointing the older you get. This year I went to bed at 3AM (editing until then), had work from 9AM-6PM, came home and gave candy to like 15 kids in total over the course of an hour, ate a piece of pumpkin pie, and then went with my mom to check on my grandpa because he wasn't answering his phone... and now I'm uploading this and I just uploaded Fright Song.

I also ate candy, but it's candy that we bought to give to trick or treaters and my mom gave away all of my favorite candy too while I was still at work. :(

I'm happy with maybe half of them? A few were a struggle, and I had the lyrics wrong for Yellow which makes me want to scream asdfkjh (negative vs I get it).

ANYWAY. Work has been oof.
We're getting a heck ton of Christmas stuff. Literally everything is spilling out of the back just stacked in boxes. We have massive piles of boxes and can't reach to stack more, so things just get yeeted to the top. There have been a few minor avalanches, and one of our managers got injured unloading the semi-truck because of falling boxes... so yup. Every time it seems like we made progress and there's some empty space, a new truck shows up that is 100% full.

We also had three new employees at one point. One guy quit after orientation, and all three quit before I could even meet them!!!! XD
The guy was a stockman, and the two others were on register. They just noped away. We do have a few other new employees, but we're really understaffed with how Christmas is coming in. They actually had some people from other stores come in and help for like four or five days, and the higher-ups helped open things. One of my coworkers was like, "Whoever did this (order so much Christmas) better not still have a job." XD

ANYWAY. Work + Chemistry. Not a good combination.
I'm awful at chemistry, so it's not going too well. I mean I have a B in the class, but for the midterm... I knew about 2/3 of what was on it. Like well enough to answer correctly in the time limit for the proctored exam. I have just one more exam left and it's proctored. The homework is okay (I bought a Chegg membership to help) and the labs are mostly good! Just struggles.

To go back to the beginning of the month though! First, my mom bought a van. It won't be here for like 6+ months though because cars and struggles. She had to pay the deposit and everything though. Then on Saturday, my Aunt and Uncle flew out from Washington state with my grandpa's new baby Ragdoll kitten. General is now like 6 months old and he's such a baby. I love him.

On the 8th we all went to an art museum, then I went shopping with my aunt, great aunt, and mom. I got too much, but I also got a Stranger Things shirt finally and a Spider-man cardigan that's kinda crazy looking but I love it. XD
My cousin also flew out that night and brought my grandpa's second (!!!) baby Ragdoll! His name is Admiral, and he was so small. He's gotten a little bit bigger (4.7 lbs).

On Friday night, a few of us from work went to Applebee's. It was a lot of fun, but they were talking about crazy times and like 'everyone had them' and I'm like.... Not me. My best friend lives 6 hours away and I was homeschooled through high school, so just living a chill life with fanfics, family, and editing YouTube videos. XD

On the 11th, my mom, dad, cousin, and I went to the art museum (second time for me). Later that day, my grandpa took his older kitty (Catsanova) to the vet because he was having trouble breathing. He ended up choosing to say goodbye to him that night.

On Monday I went to the mall with my cousin, and we had a lot of fun. Trying to figure out dinner was a big hassle though because my grandpa was like "I'll meet you guys" so we were trying to figure out somewhere he would want to eat. Then like 5 minutes later he was like, "I don't want to go anywhere, you do what you want." So then we got a table at a restaurant and invited my brother, but my brother was still working. Then after we got out drinks, my grandpa calls us and wants us to come to his place for mac n' cheese. So then I had to order my food to go and we went to my grandpa's and I was like askdfjhakdfjhdsf We had to call my brother and tell him not to come. Could that have not just been the plan originally? It would have been much cheaper for me. X'D

My cousin left on Tuesday. On Friday that week, I went to stay at my brother's place to house/cat/dog sit for two days while they were out of town. I played Pokemon on his Switch for like 5 hours total (probably why I didn't do very well on my Chemistry midterm asdkfjh).

I got new glasses on Thursday, which were really freaking expensive considering we have insurance for them. My eyesight got worse since 2018 when I got my last ones. On the 25th, I saw Running the Bases and Bullet Train with my brother. Bullet Train was more violent than I'd want to see, but it had a lot of funny scenes.

Hopped between Stranger Things, Avatar, and BNHA fanfics this month.

Also.... my best friend got engaged!!!!!!! On the 28th!!! Her wedding is December 10th, and I'm a bridesmaid. I'm really excited, but trying to figure out work schedule stuff.

❝Everybody Loves Cupid❞ ᴬᵘᵍᵘˢᵗ ²⁰²²

When I should be working on homework and studying for my exam, but I want to get this description typed before August and September blur into one. XD

August started with some very, very long days. I asked off the 4th-7th to go to a convention with my brother, so I was scheduled most of my hours in the 1st-3rd. I worked 24 hours within a 36 hour time period on Tuesday/Wednesday. X'D (and then I had 8 hours on Monday too). I literally got home and passed out, then got up super early to drive to my brother's place because we figured it would be easier for me to stay with him and cut out extra driving.

We spent almost the entire first day at Cardhalla! Masks were... a whole thing. About 20 feet away from Cardhalla were tables that said, "Take a mask break." So basically like you can sit here without a mask and no one will care. We were asked twice to wear masks, then got food and drinks, and this guy approached us and said, "You need to wear your masks." and we were like 'food', and he was like, "I've been watching you for 10 minutes and you haven't eaten." We kinda didn't want to get kicked out, so we wore them until we finished the base of our tower... then took cards over to the tables where tons of people were crowded around.... Sat for about 6-7 hours building the rest of our tower and not a single person said one thing because almost no one wore masks at the tables. I feel like it's just ?????? People only wore them where it was 'required' and no where else. Anyway, we finished our tower that night. XD

The next day, my brother wanted to play a game (Pathfinder) with his coworkers. He bought some really nice dice for each of us! Mine have flowers in them!!! And his have like a glitter that swirls around inside. Super cool! We basically just played that for a while, and then went to meet family for dinner.
The next day I bought a bunch of stuff, we went to the mall for food, played another game of Pathfinder, some crazy lady yelled at us with a megaphone (long story), and there was the destruction of cardhalla! We stayed to clean up, and then took home some of the cards. I was really disappointed that I couldn't find anything for Stranger Things though to buy... ToT

Then the last day, there was a guy in front of me in line at Starbucks with an Eddie Munson vest and I was like askdfjh We played another game of Pathfinder, I bought like two more things, then we got dinner and yeah... headed back to my brother's place where we both passed out, and then I drove home. X'D

Besides the convention, lots of work. I've gotten overtime at least a little bit every week. We also did a pitch in at work! I just brought cookies I bought at the store though lol

I made my mom a tie blanket! I've had the fabric since last black Friday, and just got around to it... X'D
I started on a cross stitch for my baby nephew, and got the yarn to crochet a blanket which I decided on a pattern for! :D
I helped my mom clean and go through some of my grandparents' stuff (on both side of the family). My grandpa went out of town to Washington, so we watched his cat. He also got a new kitten! My aunt just flew out here with him, but that's a September thing lol. My parents went out of town for two days as well. I had so many plans (clean and play music loudly XD) while they were gone, but literally I just worked and did homework the entire time asdfkjhdf

My Chemistry 2 class started on August 22nd, and there was a lot I wanted to get done before then that just didn't happen... Work has been exhausting. My first 'homework' assignment said it was supposed to take 70-85 minutes. It was due at 11:59 PM and I called my dad at 8:30 for his help with it... finished at 11:50 PM. The site also froze a few times. Then I had a 'knowledge check' to do. I was only able to answer 3 questions before 11:59, and everything else was counted as zero. It ended up as a 15%. I messaged my teacher to ask if he could somehow allow those points to be counted because of the site crashing, and he said no and that I should have had enough time. SO my grades are doing great...

So yeah. Idk, my month was mostly work honestly. I've been reading Stranger Things fanfics too. This month has been 98% Stranger Things fanfics with Eddie & Steve, with a very brief jump back to ATLA for like a day lol.

September will be a struggle though. I have four exams total in Chemistry, the first due on September 6th. I really need to do well on it so... rip

Also parts are kinda in order of what I like? But then I didn't want to end on Born for This, so I threw stuff after and wanted Everybody Loves Me at the end. XD

feel alone in a crowded room [EDL]

xBurningBrightly 2022-09-26 | Kinda crazy, but it's EDL day again!
EDL is European Day of Languages, and Neimi set up a server for a bunch of people to edit videos to celebrate! The rules are to edit a song in a language you either speak or are connected to, and I chose an English song again. X'D

Last year I was able to edit a video as well while driving out to Washington DC to see my grandma in the hospital. I honestly can't believe that was a year ago...

Anyway, it seems I am destined to edit kinda angsty songs, and also very much rush. I gave myself one hour to edit this, from 3AM to 4AM, because I have to be up for work at 9AM. I did meet my own little deadline, so here this is! XD

Also because I was trying to hurry, I decided to choose a song I already had downloaded. My inspiration has been kinda dead lately because I too have been kinda dead lately, so I'm mostly happy with this overall. :'D

July. Um. Feels like it was a few months ago. XD

All I can really remember were lots of struggles with working full time while also taking Chemistry I and Anatomy & Physiology II.

July 14th marked three years since my Grandma passed... I had work that day, but my mom and I were able to go out to the cemetery for a little while before.

My brother's cat went missing. Somehow he got out asdkfjh
They looked all over the neighborhood, and I also went over to look around outside to see if we could find him. After like 2 weeks they had basically given up, but saw him on their video outside the house! I borrowed a trap from my coworker, but it was kinda rusted and didn't go off when he got in. They bought a trap and were able to catch him, and now he's back home and very clingy. XD

My little nephew is doing well. My sister-in-law is still due in November, but her doctor said he doesn't want her to go past 37 weeks due to health reasons so he will most likely be an October baby!!! The baby shower is also on October 1st! Hopefully he doesn't come before then. XD
My sister-in-law was originally hoping for Halloween, but I feel like early October would be good. My mom's birthday is October 9th, so it would kinda be cool if he were born that day, but as long as he's healthy then it really doesn't matter when.

So with my classes... Well, first I was officially made full time on July 18th. At that point I was behind on Chemistry homework, and still had my finals and other assignments including one more dissection and a lab. I had my midterms on July 3rd and 5th, which weren't great... I got everything done for Anatomy & Physiology, and then it got to the final... I needed an 80% to get an A in the class, and had previously been cursed with 72% (THREE TIMES IN A ROW!!! including grades for Anatomy & Physiology I).
The good news? It wasn't a 72%. The really freaking bad news??? It was a 59% ToT
I literally wanted to cry. And it doesn't show what questions you miss for any of the exams, so I missed some of the same questions that were on the 1st exam and I hadn't been able to check. I definitely got a solid B in the class but akdsjfhksajdfh

Then chemistry... I didn't have time for everything tbh. On the day of the exam I took a nap for like 4 hours, woke up at 1AM, studied all that I could, took the exam at like 7:30AM, got a bad grade, went to work, and that was that. I figured if I got a good enough grade that I would do all of the homework so they could maybe get me an A, but nope. It wouldn't have saved my grade and just would have stressed me out more. Another solid B in that class. It makes me sad that all of my online classes are turning out to be Bs... Hopefully Chemistry II (just started a few days ago) will be better! We'll see. :' )

That's basically it for July. I was pretty burnt out from everything, which honestly started in early July with my midterms for the two classes and just progressively got worse throughout the month and has continued into August... Hence this being several weeks late and LadyNoir July also being late.

So now I'm trying to cut down on editing a bit (not joining every single MEP for every single studio) since I'm working full time, and I'm just taking one class at a time now. We'll see how it goes!

Also in July I really dove headfirst into the Stranger Things fandom. So many fanfics asdkfjashdfkh
Like I accidentally went 100% Avatar fanfics to 100% Stranger Things fanfics. Then I exhausted all of my favorite tags and now I'm like 70% Stranger Things and 30% Avatar right now in August. XD

So yeah. Take my rambling. Or don't. July was just a weird month full of stress. Hope everyone else had better times during July. XD

So like, obviously I had to edit with Stranger Things based on your list. I knew I needed to edit with Eddie, but then I struggled a little bit with the song (Atlantis was calling to me, but there's an amazing Hoppy & Joyce edit already with that song XD)... I actually started editing with Smells Like Teen Spirit because it was perfect! But I only made it about 30 seconds before switching songs.
Then I chose this song... because running. So much running. It's PERFECT for season 4. X'D

I ended up basically focusing 90% on Eddie and Max, because they fit the lyrics between running up that hill and running away/not running away. Somehow it turned into a lot of angst, but that shouldn't really be surprising considering the end of season four askjdfh

I actually had it longer and was going to use the voiceover of Nancy saying, "Something happened... something terrible" from season one, but it was going to be the only scene from a different season and I was struggling with the other lyrics sooooo...

Also small life update. Finals be happening. All my assignments, my last lab, my last 2 dissections, and my two finals are due next Sunday by midnight, so might not be online much.
Also after one year and nine months of working part time at Hobby Lobby, I am finally a full time employee! X'D
This means more hours (40 hours), but also more pay so it's a fair trade off. I'll be earning more than double just between those two things, and only working on average one more day (5 days a week vs 3-4 days at part time).
But anyway, between now being full time and also finals, life is askjdfh
And during the first week of August, I'll be going to a convention with my brother! :D
So I won't be able to edit like at all during the next week for sure, and might be editing less in the coming times. I've only edited 8 MEP parts so far this month. :(

I'm about 30 minutes late, but yesterday (14th) marked three years since my grandma (on my mom's side) passed away...

My mom and I went to the cemetery and I had work today. It's so weird looking back at three years ago... Like she was almost entirely unresponsive during the last few days, during the last week and a half she only ate a few bites of food (one cheese it I gave her, and a bite of carrot cake on the 3rd, which was my grandparents' anniversary). So it wasn't unexpected at all, but it's still just a sad day and I can't believe it's been three years.

Idk. Lots of thoughts today.

***99.9% of the description was typed on July 1st, I just didn't make a thumbnail until now lol
*ALSO!!! Starting on Monday, I'll be working full time at Hobby Lobby. This means I won't be editing as much, especially through July while I still have my two classes. :' )

Anyway. June was an alright month! On the 4th, my parents, Grandpa, and I went to a strawberry festival which was fun. On the 8th, we took three of our cats for vet appointments. Georgia (my baby) and Bandit passed with flying colors, but Lucky has hyperthyroidism. We have to give him medicine twice a day, and he'll be checked again later this month to see if it's working.

I started my next two college courses, Anatomy & Physiology 2 and Chemistry 101. Both are difficult. Especially chemistry because I haven't gone over any of this stuff since like 8th/9th grade. Right now we just finished week three, and it's already midterms. Somehow. For both classes. So I'm kinda stressed. I also have to dissect a sheep brain, which I don't want to do, so fun times... askdjfhaksdfh

Between the classes and working about 28 hours per week, I haven't had as much time to edit as I actually need to because MEP part deadlines.
I also found out I cannot apply to the physical therapy program this year. The phrasing online is awful and I have to take two of some classes (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) that I didn't realize. Also they're supposed to be 4 credit hours each, but mine are 3 credit hours, so that may be a problem... So yeah, kinda screwed on that front. This means I need to get an actual full time job and save up money, while taking these classes and also the GRE over the course of the next year.

My brother bought a condo! He's been living in our basement since 2020 because drama with the roommates (with police visits and stuff). We helped him move this last weekend, and I actually was able to get a couch and chair for him. My message therapist is selling hers, so we're going to get a truck and buy it from her on Sunday lol.

Between work, my brother moving, and classes, he and I haven't had time to see any movies this month... I want to see Jurassic and the Minions movie.
My sister-in-law had another check up on her baby. She's about 21 weeks now and baby Darvin is healthy and growing well! I'm so excited and really need to get started on crocheting a baby blanket soon asdfkhsdf

I also got 8 inches of my hair chopped off. I'm planning on trying to donate it somewhere, but some places have strict rules of no highlights in the last two years. Unfortunately for that, I got lighter blonde highlights last summer... So yup.

Anyway, that's June. Not much happened besides school and work X'D

I cried three times during the last episode... When Eddie died, when Max died, and when Dustin talked to Wayne (Eddie's uncle). Speaking of Eddie, justice for Eddie please...

I am desperately hoping for Max to come back to everyone next season. I really don't think she's dead or brain dead or anything. My guess is that her conscience is with Vecna or in the upside down somehow, and they'll be able to completely save her in the next season. We'll have to see about her possibly being blind though... The bones can probably be mostly fixed with screws, casts, ect?

But yeah. Here's to hoping the kiddos can stop going through constant traumatic experiences and that (mostly) everyone will be safe and happy in two years after season five... ToT

It started off with a trip to Florida, I had classes/finals and much stress in the middle, and ended with Scarlett dying and my grandpa getting a concussion... All of which will have further detail in my long rambling description.

Florida!!! So my dad had a business trip to Marco Island. He and my mom were going, and I've been wanting to go with to one of the Florida business trips for like 6 years(?) now. We agreed I could go but I would pay for my plane ticket, and if the hotel charged extra (they were supposed to but didn't XD), and some other stuff.
ANWAY. May 1st my brother dropped us off at the airport. We made it to Florida, got an Uber to the hotel and the guy was super nice. We took naps then went to a restaurant right there called Quinn's, and then very briefly walked down to the beach because it was getting dark.

Official day 1 we ate at Quinn's, and then my mom and I went down to the beach! I got a bunch of seashells and walked in the ocean some. It was really funny... We both brought books to read. Mine was a book about the Holocaust, and my mom's was a trashy romance novel from Half Price that she threw away after reading. My mom was like, "Why did you bring something so depressing?" XD My dad had a dinner thing that night that they went to, so I got pizza from a different restaurant attached to the hotel lol. I also did homework that night because due dates were Tuesday for my classes at the time.

Day 2, my dad went fishing with some co-workers so I had lunch with my mom and then got some tiny cakes and a donut. We both took naps, then went to Quinn's and I did more homework because stress and deadlines lol

Day 3 we walked about a mile to a different restaurant, and there was a huge store on the way basically designed for tourists. We got some ice cream, then took naps. Then my mom and I went to the pool where I just read, then we walked down to the beach and I got more shells! We ate at Quinn's again too.

Day 4 we ate lunch at a place called Snook Inn, which we took an Uber to. Then my mom and I shopped a little bit. I was looking for a box to put my seashells in, so my dad and I walked back down to the tourist store. Then we all napped, and went to the beach where I found even more shells... I swear I brought back so many shells. We ate dinner I think at the pizza place, and then I did homework and read fanfics.

Day 5 we left Marco Island and went back to the airport for a rental car to drive out to Orlando! I did homework on the way because it was like a 3 hour drive, and we ate at a place called Miller's Ale House. They had a really good dessert that was like an ice cream pie. +homework

Day 6 was the very first day of Universal! My dad and I woke up early and got there at 8:40AM. We went on the Harry Potter: Escape from Gringotts, Men in Black, the Simpsons, ET, and Transformers. Then we left and went to the Tiffany museum with my mom. It was the only thing she really wanted to do in Florida, so I wanted to make sure we went even if we missed out on some rides. All of the stained glass was super pretty, and there were some amazing carvings too. We got lunch and cream puffs. Then my mom dropped my dad and I back at Universal, and we went on the Minions ride, tried to go on Fast & Furious, went on the HP ride again, tried to go on Fast & Furious again... and it was down. They sent everyone away, but since my dad and I talked to the lady she gave us each a fast pass! I bought a Spider-Man keychain. That night I was up until 2AM editing all of my mother's day parts and rendering the MEPs lol

Day 7 was Disneyworld!!! We got up even earlier (6:30AM) and took an Uber to Animal Kingdom. The first ride we went on was Everest, then Dinosaur, Tough to be a Bug, Avatar Flight of Passage, got a churro, the Safari, and then we went to the Rainforest Cafe! After that we park hopped to Magic Kingdom and went on the Haunted Mansion, saw the parade, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Space Mountain, Small World, Pirates, and gift shop... Then I convinced my dad to park hop to Epcot and we went on Soarin' and the Nemo ride.

Long story short though, more rides, flying home, sooooo much stress about homework and finals and work and editing, one of our kitties died, and a lady tripped my grandpa at the car race and he had to go to the hospital for 10 hours and had a concussion. And the lady didn't even check on him. I hope karma gets her. I told my aunt that I hope the entire time she was watching the race, she had a tall person standing in front of her and wearing a hat.

Rᴇᴍᴇᴍʙᴇʀ ᴛʜɪs [4.0]

xBurningBrightly 2022-06-05 | This is the most struggle I have ever had with a MEP part. Only by one extra try, since another I struggled with like a year ago I edited three times, but still. X'D

I'm happy with how the final one turned out! Probably Encanto and Anthem of the Heart are my favorite tries.

With BNHA I just struggled a lot with matching the lyrics, these are just the scenes that popped into my head when I originally heard the part.
Next I did Encanto because I felt like the angst fit the vibes, but it annoyed me that I couldn't truly match the lyrics, like with 'comment sections' and no technology lol.
Then I thought about the angst of Marvel Spider-Man and 'look at the world we live in defined by comment sections' and was like ay but also wasn't really happy with how it was turning out?
So final try was Anthem of the Heart because it matched the angsty vibes, I could match comment sections even though I don't remember what the message on the phone says XD, and 'speak louder than words though it's pretty quiet, isn't it?' was also perfect.

It's interesting to me too how the timing is different between the parts. Usually it isn't, but I switched between matching the beats and matching the lyrics a few times... XD

SO YEAH.
Many struggles, several days, but I'm happy with how the final part turned out. It's not often that I choose something to edit, it doesn't work out, and I start again... but it happens sometimes. XD
The last time was 'I don't really like your boyfriend' and then last year was 'I really really really really really really like you' lol

Just 24 hours ago at 2:10AM, I found one of our kitties almost completely unresponsive. My mom and I rushed her to an emergency vet right away.

The vet was talking to another person about their pet when we came in, and she ran over to take her to the back. Scarlett was 18 pounds and part Maine Coon, so she was a big kitty. In the back, she had a seizure and they had to give her a muscle relaxant. Based on her heartrate, which was about 40 beats per minute, they didn't think there would be enough time to figure out what was wrong and help her. So my mom and I were brought to the back to be with her.

We have her brother and sister, Bandit and Georgia, so they took blood in order to try to see if whatever happened isn't genetic. It only showed that she basically just had a massive organ failure...
No reason as to why. She was just at the vet last week, and the only thing that showed up as abnormal was high cholesterol. Everything else was perfectly ordinary, and she had a follow up appointment scheduled for the 6th to figure out why her cholesterol was high.

We made the decision to let her go, just after they took the blood, before testing was even done. Her heart was at 20 beats per minute, so she was practically gone within less than an hour of finding her.

I hate knowing that she probably had a seizure alone, and who knows how long it was from then until I found her. My dad went to bed around 1AM and he said she was just sleeping, and I found her at 2:10. I don't know how much I trust my dad on what he said either though... She could have been alone for an hour. I wish I had decided to feed the cats and go to bed earlier, but also what if she was okay then? I might have just found her in the morning instead and it would have been worse. So what-if's just suck.

We left the house at 2:12AM and were on our way home at 3:25AM... Just over an hour between finding her, her passing, and leaving her.
Honestly, I'm pretty sure I'm still in shock. I have also cried a ridiculous amount today.

Scarlett wasn't even ten years old yet. The vet said that's old for an indoor cat, but Lucky is 11-12, Amber is 14, and Angel is at least 16-17. Like out of all our cats, Scarlett, Georgia, and Bandit are our youngest! They're the babies.

We don't have any answers as to what happened; but we have Lucky, Georgia, and Bandit scheduled for vet appointments on June 8th. They're going to have blood work and everything to make sure they're all healthy. Georgia is my baby, 100% my cat, and I don't even want to imagine losing her any time before she hits like 20 years.

It's also crazy that we lost my mom's cat, Jasmine, back on February 13th, and now we've lost Scarlett too. We went from seven to five cats, and now we don't have our three tacos anymore either...

Story time;
When we got the tacos, there was a lady who cut mine and my mom's hair. Her barn cat had three kittens, and she told us that we could have them because we'd been talking about how we wanted to get siblings so they would be close. We were originally only going to take two, but their mama stopped taking care of them at five weeks old. We met in a McDonald's parking lot and we just couldn't choose one to leave. So we brought all three home.

The reason we call them the tacos is because at the time, we used to go to Chili's a lot to eat. We literally knew the waiters on a first name basis. We had the phone number of one and she also loaned me an entire series of books. Anyway, my mom really liked hold the kittens on their backs and kiss their tummies because they were so soft and fluffy. She had a dream that she was doing that and Creighton walked up and she held out a kitten and said, "Want a taco???"
Since then, they've been known as that tacos. It's really sad when dinner is ready and we're eating tacos, because someone will yell "Tacos are ready!" upstairs and all three plus Lucky would come running.

When they were babies, Lucky took care of them. He was like their mom. Scarlett would suck on his fur, which was really funny. Lucky even taught himself how to open doors for them when they wanted into a room, so now we need to keep doors locked because he'll get into everything.

Scarlett loved smoothies. She also liked peaches, but not as much as mr-steals-a-peach-and-hides-under-the-table-growling-at-everyone Bandit. XD
She was a sweetheart that didn't like being held, but loved being pet. We used to hold her and bounce her up and down for 'cat yodeling' based on an old youtube video. She loved snuggling with her brother and Lucky.
She didn't deserve to go this way...

I feel like a lot of my grief over losing her is tied into she wasn't really that old, it was entirely 100% unexpected, finding her, and the lady who cut our hair committed suicide back in 2018 and we never invited her over to see them fully grown. She only saw pictures. And that's a whole long story by itself...

rest in peace Scarlett. I wish you were still here.

I meant to upload this MEP collection earlier, but I was really really busy until the 18th and it just hasn't happened until now. X'D

I honestly don't even remember what all happened last month. I had work a lot, went to the mall with my mom at one point which was fun... more work... lots of trying to clean the house with my mom.... I had my two online classes, Anatomy & Physiology 1 and Biology 101. My big not open book anatomy & physiology exam did not go great...

I had one week that I was only scheduled a single day??? Which was really weird because I was averaging about 25 hours a week until then, and then from the 11th-16th I was only scheduled on truck day for 8 hours. SO! My mom and I drove out to West Virginia! My dad and his brothers were working on selling their parents' house because my grandpa is now in care and bed ridden, and my grandma passed last year... So my mom and I drove out there to get the last car load of things we're keeping. We left on the 13th and stopped by a cross stitch store called Keepsakes. They have a black kitty named DMC 310, which is absolutely the perfect name for the baby if you know anything about cross stich aksdjfhkjaf

We stopped randomly at places... Then when we were there we loaded up the car, went to another cross stitch store (In Stitches), got Krispy Kreme donuts, went to Macy's, got mexican and thai food... and that was our only day there. We drove home the next day with basically just bathroom breaks. We also almostttt ran out of gas at one point. It was like 5 miles to empty by the time we backtracked and made it to a gas station. XD

On the way there we played a word game. I honestly don't know if it's something we made up or what, but basically you have to make a sentence and all of the words need to start with the same letter, and repeating the entire sentence as you add a word. So for example like "Brown bears bake brisket before buying butter by..." ect. It was hilarious, though probably because it was like midnight at the time and we had been driving for like 9 hours. I actually recorded part of it XD

Umm... We got back and then on the 16th, we went with my brother and sister-in-law to get furniture for their nursery! Baby is due on November 9th. They didn't know at the time, but it's a boy! We found out in May so. XD

I saw The Lost City with my brother again, but we convinced my parents to go too because I knew my mom would really like it. My mom and I both got new phones! We both had cracked screens, and they were kinda just dying on us... so yup.

More cleaning, more work, more homework...

!!!!! I also kinda got sucked back into the ATLA fandom again. I was looking at bookmarks from an author I read a fanfic from and they had an Avatar fanfic bookmarked and just... I read it. It was Toph & Zuko because they're family. And suddenly I'm searching "the gaang finds out how Zuko got his scar" and "platonic soulmates" with the gaang, and "Zuko is an awkward turtleduck" which is one of my absolute favorite new tags. So that happened and is still going very strong. I mainly read when in the car, on break at work, and before going to sleep... but yeah. I've not been getting enough sleep mostly because homework and a tinyyy bit because of fanfics. I was very sleep deprived last month. I went three days and only got like 11 hours of sleep, like 3 hours each night and one night at 5 hours.

ANYWAY. If anyone wants to talk about Avatar fanfics, please message me! I've been spamming exactly one person very rarely because I'm trying to have self control and know they don't really care. so. :'D

But anyway. Between 25 hours at work and 20+ hours of homework each week, there wasn't much editing done. I was also just really tired and kinda burnt out, and still am honestly. I have edited more this month already though, and hopefully that collection won't be almost a month late for uploading lol

❝Ruin My Life❞ MEP Collection ᵐᵃʳᶜʰ ²⁰²²

It definitely had its downs, but there were a few ups.
To start off, our health insurance this year refused to cover my narcolepsy medication, which is $700 per month without insurance ($9 with insurance). My doctor tried fighting for me, but they did a peer to peer review thing and the insurance company's doctor said that I needed to try stimulants instead first.

The first one was literally AWFUL. Like oh my gosh I had absolutely no chill.
Google is like "this medicine isn't associated with the normal highs and lows of other stimulants"... but I cried like three times in one night for no reason, and almost choked on my lasagna when laughing (and crying too) for absolutely no reason. My hands were shaking and I was super jittery. I actually went to the store and bought a fidget cube on day two because I just couldn't deal with it.

Half the time with medicine #1 I was like "Is this what it feels like to be high???" and the other half I was like "Is this what a nervous breakdown is like?????" XD

I also had the weirdest crossover multi-fandom dream between day 1-2. Rika from Digimon, some of the Avatar cast, and ect were there. It was at a school??? And there was a teacher, and all of the kids convinced the teacher to make enchiladas in the oven. Then main character girl (idk who) sent a picture to her dad saying 'we're staying late at school because the teacher is making enchiladas' and the dad said something "... not even to save the world" (that part is kinda fuzzy, he was sitting on a mountain though lol) and then some multiverse stuff happened. Then a villain showed up at the school that wanted the mindstone, which is somehow in a cave??? That was literally inside the school????? And all of the kids were fighting, but none of them knew the others had powers before. AND THEN. Some sludge monsters overwhelm the villain lady and the kids go into the cave... and literally at the end of the cave was Saitama from One Punch Man. He turned super slowly and he was LITERALLY SURROUNDED by merch. Just merchandise all of his head.
It was the craziest dream. Idk how my brain came up with it. I had some other weird dreams too, which are in the comment lol

Medicine #2 wasn't as bad, but my pulse was crazy for three days and regularly at 110. I called my doctor on day 3 when my pulse was at 144 and stopped that medication. Miraculously, I was able to get my original medication back after more than a week of struggles.

ANYWAY.
On March 1st, we found out that my sister-in-law is pregnant!!! She has since had a doctor appointment, and the due date is November 9th. I am SOOOO excited!!!! I'm going to be an aunt to my first baby niece or nephew! We've talked about names. If it's a boy they're going to name him after my grandpa. If it's a girl they aren't really sure, but my sister-in-law really likes the name Meadow.

I also puppy sat for my great aunt, worked, and had physical therapy for my foot. In mid-March, I read my very first Avatar fanfic. I found it bookmarked by someone. Zuko & Toph as found family. I didn't read any other Avatar for a bit, and then I stumbled into the tag "The Gaang finds out how Zuko got his scar" and I've read 40+ Avatar fanfics since... whoops XD
I finished re-watching Digimon Tamers, and started Digimon Frontier, and also completed two cross stitches!

I started two 8-week online classes on March 23rd. I'm taking Anatomy & Physiology I + Biology 101. Just homework for week one took me nearly 20 hours. And of course, everything is due on Tuesday by 11:59PM for both classes, which is truck day at work and the day that I always work without fail (rn either 1PM to close or 3PM to close). Literally there is not a single day that would be worse. X'D

But yeah! That was my March! I was able to edit a lot though! As I'm posting this on April 10th, I've only been able to edit a single MEP part this month so far. I have my first exam this week, and two midterms next week... So editing isn't going well this month. I'm hoping to at least edit 10 parts since the least I've ever edited was 9. :')

Anyway, hopefully April goes well with my classes and everything, and then May starts with a trip to Florida with my family! :D

In other news, I am starting two online college courses today! I did my first assignment for one yesterday though. XD

They're going to be pretty difficult and fast paced since everything is crammed into six weeks, so I may not be very reliable over the next while. They end on May 17th, but then I'll be taking summer courses, and then courses during the first and second semesters for fall. I also have to take the GRE, and a math placement test... Basically life is going to be busy and I'm going to be stressing. I also have to shadow a physical therapist (or two) for 80 hours, but I still need to find someone... and get three people to write recommendation letters, though one will be that physical therapist. We'll see how it goes. My mental health already be struggling though because money and medication and life. X'D

Today was also not a great day (like a cry in the break room at work kinda day X'D), so it's also a bit of a vent.

I almost edited with Nezuko, but I don't have the newest episodes downloaded; and from the AMVs I've seen, I want to use those scenes. I have another file with some scenes for Nezuko already chosen for this song lol

Anywayyyy, enjoy the sad spider child, but not Peter Parker... Apparently I have a thing for characters associated with spiders, even though I personally really don't like spiders at all. Keep them at least 10 feet away and out of view.

❝Intimate Moments❞ MEP Collection ᶠᵉᵇʳᵘᵃʳʸ ²⁰²²

Tbh I don't even know what I did in February... XD
I watched a few shows (will update to say what ones later) on Netflix, and finished re-watching Digimon season 2!
I know I watched Our Love is 10cm Apart this month, some random music shows and 100 Questions on Netflix, ect... Literally just random things I could put on for multitasking.

I made a cross stitch that I'm really happy with. It's a house with roses and says "be my Valentine".
I got my room cleaned up a bit more! My mom was willing to get me one of those cubes shelves, so now my yarn and cross stitch stuff is in that rather than in boxes along the wall. XD

I went back to work at Hobby Lobby on the 9th. My first two days back, I literally walked to the corner and sat down and cried because my foot hurt so much, so that was fun. Day three I was like, "as long as I don't cry I'm winning". After that I changed my shift to instead of working 5 hours, I work 6 but get a 30 minute meal break, so I get an extra break rather than just 15 minutes.
Physical therapy is interesting! I have to walk around on my tip toes, do some toe crunches, ect. XD

On February 13th, my mom's kitty Jasmine passed away... She was our last Ragdoll baby. She hadn't been doing great for a year or so, and she just slowly slipped away. My mom held her the entire last hour when she was barely breathing. It was peaceful and she didn't suffer... My mom didn't see a reason to take her to a vet when she was like 17 years old and we wouldn't try to do anything, so she was home until the end.

I played Pokémon Go for Go Fest! This year I got 30 shiny Pokémon, and I chose the silver version. Last year I got quite a few more shiny, so I feel like they dropped the shiny rate. I also couldn't find a shiny Unown...
Last year was definitely more fun. Mainly because I was able to play it with my dad, but this year he was out of town that week.

My brother and I saw Uncharted and Moonfall in theaters.
They really just got so, so much out of their movie long journey though. X'D

Andddd... I got exciting news from my brother, but I'm not going to say here because at least one or two people in my family are subscribed to my channel. I'll say in a few months, but I'm so excited!!!

Honestly, how is January already over? When did this happen???

I feel like this January felt much "slower" since I didn't have work, but that just made all of the days blur together. I go back to work next week for limited hours since my foot is still healing.

Speaking of my foot, I must have developed an allergy to Neosporin because hives. My foot is so stinkin' itchy that it makes me want to scream; and I really shouldn't itch it since the incision is still healing from the surgery.

So for the fun stuff this last month, I've crocheted (I think 2 hats and a scarf almost finished), cross stitched (a candy corn cross stitch that took absolutely forever and a Valentine's one I started on the 31st), edited a bit, and I've watched some shows and movies!
I watched episodes 11-26 of Demon Slayer in one day lol. I did watch the Mugen Train arc too. I saw the movie in theaters, but that was before I watched any of the anime. I haven't watched anything after episode 7 yet though because it looks stressful and I am not down for that right now. X'D

I've also read some fanfics! I'm honestly disappointed that so many fanfics are for ships though... I'm too focused on Tanjirou saving his sister and I don't care for any of the ships. Give me some found family, time travel, and fix it fanfics please instead lol
There is one good time travel fanfic though! Something sunlight that's ongoing. Tanjirou has been through many, many loops...

On the 31st, I watched episodes 1-9 of All of Us Are Dead (finished on the 1st). I wanted something I wouldn't care to focus on so I could multitask and cross stitch, but I got sucked in. I really want to edit something angsty with it, but can't find a download yet. Gotta hop onto the hype train so I can make a video that people will watch. XD

Idk, other than that I've just had doctor appointments, taking books to half price to sell, and hanging out with my family. I also didn't really have many MEP parts for January... I have more for February since Valentine's day is a thing though, which I really need to get started on.

Oh!!! I also have a full Demon Slayer AMV in the works. I'm really tempted to just post it as it is right now, but I feel like I should probably do more and add a few voiceovers. It's like 3 minutes long though, so I'm kinda proud of that. XD
Hoping to post it in February, or it's just going to sit as an unfinished project for forever.

Info; The editing appreciation challenge is basically where you go back to older edits that you are or were proud of, and then you put them into a compilation so you can see how you've improved. The goal is basically to appreciate how much you've grown in editing. I was tagged/nominated in 2019 by Lilly, and it's now 2022. X'D

2021 was a lot. Not my worst year ever, but crazy.

I worked at Hobby Lobby, had two surgeries, my grandmother passed (on my dad's side), my parents both got corona so I had to quarantine for 3 weeks, we had to say goodbye to our kitty Aladdin, my grandpa moved and sold his house, my great aunt moved to the area... ect.
There were a lot of fun things too though! My choir invited alumni back so I got to sing and see everyone again, I was able to save up a little bit of money, I feel like I got closer to my sister-in-law, my best friend was able to come out to Indy to visit twice, I went bowling with my co-workers twice, I was able to go to Washington DC with my brother and dad, ect.
Just a lot of stuff really, which is what usually happens in 365 days. XD

Since December 1st I've been at home because I had surgery on my foot, so I've had more time to edit. I go back the first week of February though and reallyyyyy need to figure out what I want to do for a career. I'm torn between becoming a physical therapist (the schooling though skdjfh) or trying to find something in the computer field. Please help. X'D

As far as editing in 2021 though, I feel like summer was my peak. Like my editing was pretty good then, and it's just gone downhill a bit since... :' D
I don't really have any edits that I *dislike* in 2021 though at least! Just a few rushed MEP parts. My goal for 2022 is try to never call a MEP part 'done' if I don't at least like it. I may have already kinda broken that goal, but it's still a goal. XD

I think it's like 95% the Encanto fanfic.

Mainly inspired by the Bruno & Mirabel one-shot where he talks to her the night Antonio got his gift. Basically there's a brief point in the conversation where Bruno comforts Mirabel, and she's insistent that she's not jealous of Antonio, he deserves a gift and she's really happy for him (The Breakdown by Jillypotato).

Also slightly inspired by Music Has a Way of Changing History by SimpleSoul_Shipper, another watching the movie fanfic, and How loveless the silence (how silent the loving) by ILovedHerAndSometimesSheLovedMeToo.
How loveless the silence is my absolute favorite, and if anyone is down for angst then I definitely recommend it!

But also. I didn't realize how many Encanto fanfics I've read... Basically all the Mirabel wholesome family ones, some Bruno fanfics, all the angst, and some watching the movie ones too. X'D
I set filters to stay away from... some others. Which I definitely recommend because oof, idk what's going on but no thanks.

❝Midnight Reasons❞ MEP Collection ᴰᵉᶜᵉᵐᵇᵉʳ ²⁰²¹

xBurningBrightly 2022-01-03 | 2021 is officially over! It's crazy to think about... I don't know what even happened to 2020 and 2021. X'D

First off though, December. It started off on the 1st with surgery on my foot. Not a very fun time. Thankfully they gave me medications so I wasn't nauseous, but about an hour after my surgery I was sitting at home and suddenly really dizzy, like a swoosh if that makes any sense. My doctor said to just take me to the ER, so I spent a few hours at the ER while they just kept an eye on me. It was probably the anesthesia that caused it.

The next day I started crocheting my grandpa's scarf for Christmas! I made it through two skeins in a few hours, which was a new a record for most crocheting I've done in one day up until the day before Christmas. XD

I had a doctor appointment on the 7th, and I swear people are so nice? I keep on questioning if I just hadn't spent time around people for a long time, if it's because it's the holidays, or if it's because I'm partially crippled right now. My mom and brother say it's all of the above. I was hobbling around with my grandma's cane though, and this guy walked up to me and offered to help me get to my appointment with his wheelchair. At the time I thought it was one for the doctor's office so I said yes. It was actually his wheelchair! He helped me up the elevator and then got into his wheel chair and wheeled away. ToT

Eventually I made it to the 8th and had my follow up appointment! X-rays were done and my foot is healing okay. On the 9th I left the house again and saw Ghostbusters and Encanto in theaters with my brother! Our theater has reclining seats so I could keep my foot elevated. :P

At 12:02AM on the 13th, my mom walked into my room and said "Happy birthday! Do you have any food?"
For my birthday I went to Costco with my brother, ate a piece of cheese pizza and a churro, then waited in the food court while he got my birthday cake. We went to the Starbuck's so I could get my free drink, a peppermint hot chocolate. Then we went home and eventually had cake. That night was a meteor shower, so I went outside and saw 12 total!
And movieshq made a birthday MEP for me! It's beautiful and I love it so much.
The next day I went to Cheesecake Factory with my mom and we went shopping for my birthday and for Christmas presents. My foot was not a fan of the walking though.

I watched a lot of movies this month. My doctor literally said he was prescribing Netflix. Just sit and watch Netflix. XD
In all, I watched Athlete A and Enola Holmes (2nd), Children of the Sea, Parallels of Anne Frank, and started Klaus but couldn't deal emotionally with the cringe of the beginning X'D (3rd), Over the Moon and The Last Days (1998) (4th), Photographer of Mauthausen and Words Bubble Up Like Soda (8th), Steal a Pencil for Me episodes 61-66 of Pokémon Master Journeys (11th), 67-69 of Pokémon Master Journeys, Fire in Paradise (12th), Life Overtakes Me and Klaus (18th)
Then in theaters I saw Ghostbusters, Encanto, Spider-Man No Way Home, and Sing 2 this month.

And yeah... mostly December has been hanging out with my family, crocheting Christmas presents, cross stitching, editing lots of Secret Santas and MEP parts, doctor appointments, and so many movies on Netflix. I can't work until 7-8 weeks after my surgery since I work on my feet, so late this month I'll be going back to work.

As far as 2021, I wrote a summary of things that happened and were like important and memorable, whether good or bad.

With editing, I've been part of 184 completed MEPs this year and hosted 36 MEPs that are uploaded!
In real life; Aladdin (my cat) died on March 5th, my choir invited alumni back for a concert, my friend visited in April, my grandpa sold his house, I had a second rhinoplasty surgery, two people in my family got covid, my grandma on my dad's side was diagnosed with cancer (September 26th) and died 2 weeks later, so I went out to Washington DC twice, my friend visited from Missouri again in October, my cousin visited from Washington state, my parents and brother went to DC so I was home alone for a week for the first time, I had to take my cat to the emergency vet twice (the first ranked in top 5 worst days ever), and I had surgery on my foot on December 1st. Oh, and also my brother's car got totaled while parked in front of his house last month.

Tbh here, I struggled with your Secret Santa. There were so many songs and movies to choose from! I almost edited Alone Together by Fall Out Boy, then Black Parade by My Chemical Romance... And I have thirteen movies on my written list of possibilities 😂

I decided pretty early on that I would be using multiple movies! XD
I thought this song would be the easiest to fit with the movies I listed, and then it was just down to choosing movies... Which somehow made it turn into angst. I didn't plan for the angst, but I only had Tangled scenes left to go and I realized. It was angst. I have that problem a lot. At that point I just decided to roll with it after listening to the lyrics again and realizing that they are pretty angsty to begin with. X'D
So it went mostly introspective angst, people dying angst, and then mostly happy memories because they're wishing to go back to yesterday. What a great way to start the new year. 😂

xBurningBrightly 2021-12-02 | I can't believe that 2021 is almost over... We have ONE MONTH left of the year!!!!!!! askjdfh

So like usual, I'll tell anyone who wants to read this what my life was like in November. XD
It was wild, and included a day that firmly made it into top 10 worst days of my life like, emotionally and mentally.

It started off with so much work and getting over my cold. On Tuesdays I was scheduled 11AM-close (about 9-10PM), but they changed it to 10AM-close because I told them about my surgery and that I can't work on my feet for 6-8 weeks. It was a lot, but I also wanted to earn as much money as I could. Hoping I can get unemployment for 6-8 weeks considering I just had surgery on my foot today and physically can't work. I'll talk more about that later though.
I also carried around a bag of cough drops at work because my throat still hated me at the beginning of the month since I wasn't completely better by then.

The 3rd was my Grandpa's birthday! I stayed up way too late crocheting a duck for him. Technically I already had one ready to go, but he was just a little bit off so I decided to make him another one. He has a duck collection. He really liked it! We also ate at Longhorn and I picked up two Costco cakes!

On the 13th, my cousin flew in from Washington state! That day my parents and brother also left to Washington DC to go through things at my grandparent's house. I had work that day 11-10:50PM.
I got to meet up with my cousin and grandpa for lunch at Olive Garden and we went to a pancake place for breakfast the next day! Then I hung out with them for a few hours, and we all painted! My cousin and I did watercolor (she finished hers) and my grandpa was working on his oil painting.
My parents were out of town until the 20th, which is when I went over to my great aunt's house to take care of her dogs, cat, and house!
Since my family was out of town then, I had to go back and forth from my aunt's house, to work, to her house, to home, and back to her house every day to let the dogs out and sleep over there. I also made a deal with my mom to clean the house, so basically all of my free time went to that.

Now onto one of my top 10 worst days for a single event.
On the 20th, I was cleaning... and I went to move a bucket of litter from the hallway, into another room. I had put Lucky in there because he was out and trying to open doors for rooms he isn't allowed into... So I went to close the door with my foot, and he jumped from the dresser, over my head and out into the hallway. His back paw got shut in the door.
He took off to hide and I had to run around the house looking for him and he was meowing so sadly. It took me about 15 minutes to catch him. Then I called my mom and told her about it. We decided I should try to take him to a vet, but all of them were booked... so I took him to my grandpa and brother for their opinions and help finding an emergency vet.

My brother, sister-in-law, and I took him in. They did x-rays, cleaned and bandaged his foot, ect. Since my parents were out of town still on Saturday and I was staying at my great aunt's place, he had to stay with my grandpa that night.
The next day his paw was really swollen, so I had to take him back to the emergency vet! Basically all of the swelling went to the bottom of his paw because it was tight, so they took the bandage off. My parents got home that night. Lucky has to wear a cone and basically be on cage rest for 2 weeks, which thankfully is almost over. My mom took him to our vet, and somehow there's a hole in one of the wounds that goes down into the joint. They said if I hadn't take him in right away, it would have gotten infected and might have needed amputated.
He's doing a lot better though and doesn't hold it against me... I literally went home that night and cried for about 20 minutes. He's such a sweet boy and I just feel awful that he got hurt because of me... T-T

On the 19th, my car got hit while I was at work. I guy just didn't break enough and hit the front. I wasn't there, but a co-worker of mine saw.
Then on the 23rd, my brother's car was hit when parked in front of his house. The entire back corner is basically gone, so he has a rental car right now. Idk if they can fix it or he needs a new car.
Thanksgiving was nice! Kinda weird. Friday morning I went to Michael's and Joann's and had to get a test before my surgery. I worked from 1-10:30PM because Hobby Lobby was open two extra hours.
Honestly the entire week that my aunt was gone was completely exhausting, but she got back that night thankfully!

Other than all that I basically just had work. I had my foot surgery today on the 1st, but I'll talk about that in the next collection. XD

For the MEP, everyone chose a fear to focus on. I chose 'fear of losing loved ones/family', but lowkey I almost chose fear of the ocean. Just thinking about the ocean and not knowing what's down there freaks me out askdjfh
I read a few months back that it's an actual phobia called thalassophobia! It's not bad for me, but you won't catch me swimming in the ocean lol
I thought I would do 'fear of losing family' though because it's a legitimate thing I worry about and provides the proper angst for a MEP part.

❝Heavy Future❞ MEP Collection ᴼᶜᵗᵒᵇᵉʳ ²⁰²¹

xBurningBrightly 2021-11-09 | I just realized I didn't upload my October MEP collection... XD

October was a rollercoaster.
My grandma passed on the 2nd of October, so we went out to Washington DC on the 9th for the funeral. It ended up being like a ten hour drive out there and my mom drove the whole way. The ceremony was nice, and I was able to catch up with some family I haven't been in a long time.

My friend and I had already made plans for her to come out to visit, so she got here on the 6th! We were able to hang out for two days before I had to leave. We went to the mall, got some donuts, bought some yarn, ect. We watched A Whisker Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, and When Marnie Was There. We also watched The Floor is Lava on Netflix! XD

But yeah, we didn't get to spend as much time together as we'd planned since I had to leave. When we were in DC, we tried food at a Greek restaurant! I hadn't eaten Greek food before. We met my uncle there and then visited at the hotel for a while. We also went to a cross stitch store that was awesome! It has more stuff than the stores we have here.
My parents are going back to DC in a few days, but my mom won't let me go this time because I would need to ask off from work again for like a week. It always makes me anxious when she goes on trips without me. I have my foot surgery though on December 1st (did I mention that in the last description?), so I'll have to take off 6-8 weeks then. I'm very anxious about talking to my boss about it tomorrow. Idk why though, I really should find a new job or go to school or something anyway... If anyone has tips for choosing a career, please let me know. D:
I'm thinking I should just go back to school in January, my grandpa offered to help me pay for some, but I can't figure out what I want to even do with my life.

Anyway... I crocheted bit in October. I finished a duck for my grandpa that I started monthsss ago, but then didn't like it and made another one, then I gave him duck #2. I made a hat, and another hat I tried to make but was off a few stitches and it's just a sad headband because I also ran out of yarn...... X'D

I went on a trip with my mom and Grandpa! On the 29th, we went to the town where my grandpa used to live. It's almost four hours away. Unfortunately after lunch on the way there, I got a sore throat. My mom and I thought I maybe accidentally ate coconut at a buffet, but I actually got some random virus. I had to call into work the next day because I completely lost my voice... and by that, I mean I had my mom call. Not sure what my boss thought about that. XD
The trip was fun though! We ate at two restaurants we all really like and haven't been too in like 2+ years, talked to some people from the town, saw pretty scenery, stopped at CVS for cough drops, ect. When we got home, we saw that my brother shaved his head. My mom has been telling him too for a while, but it was definitely surprising! lol

My brother and I were going to see BNHA in theaters on Friday, but had to cancel because of the trip. We ended up going on Sunday! I didn't like Rody for a while, but he's a good kiddo. I desperately want to edit with him and his siblings now askdjfh
Since I was sick, we just dumped some candy in a bucket and set it out front. I sat by the window to keep an eye on it to make sure a kid didn't take like the entire bucket or something while editing my parts for Panic Room last minute. Halloween just gets more disappointing as the years go by... :' )

But speaking of movies, my brother and I saw Venom and BNHA in theaters. Unfortunately we couldn't see any others, but we did just see two yesterday as well! We should at least see two per month to make it worth the AMC stubs membership.

But yeah... I had work, and just so much stuff with life. I've been mentally so akjsfhksjfh that editing is a struggle most of the time. Like I want to edit, but I don't have the mental energy to. I literally passed out for 11 hours in a chair after work one day. I hardly even read this month much compared to usual. Hopefully I'll be better this month though! At this point I'm behind on some MEP parts again, but working on it...
I was so mentally askdjfh, I ended up binge watching Pokemon Journeys and Master Journeys because I couldn't make myself do anything. I love Pokemon asdhj

ANYWAY.
So far this month is going better! Even though I'm still not 100% over my cold yet. And my mom and dad will be out of town... but my cousin is visiting! And my love for my co-workers has been re-affirmed. They're all so nice and I love them all so much askdfjh
So. October was a bit of a bust, had many ups and downs, but I have hope for November!

Tbh, Halloween as a holiday seems to get more disappointing as the years go by lol
This year I saw the BNHA movie in theaters (!!!) with my brother, then came home and edited Panic Room while keeping an eye on the bucket of candy out front. I didn't even dress up, just wore my UA hoodie. X'D
I'm also sick right now, hence not actually handing out candy to kids. (I went to the doctor to be safe and it's just a random virus. I'm almost over it, and sat away from people at the theater if anyone was wondering.)
I did see a kid dressed as Pikachu, and another kid dressed as Ladybug though!

ANYWAY. I think my favorite parts this year are probably both for Monster, just because of the theme and the song aksdjfh

So we started off with Wednesday, September first... My mom's cat had a stroke (possibly, the vet isn't 100% sure) at 2AM and she could hardly walk and was basically completely out of it. My mom thought she wouldn't even make it through the night, but she did so my mom took her to the vet when they opened. She was a lot better then and they said basically there's nothing they can do. They did some bloodwork and stuff, but yeah. Jasmine is like 18 years old, so we don't want to put her through stressful vet appointments and stuff.
I had work that day, and when I went on break I saw a text from my mom that she was at the ER with my grandpa. He had a hematoma on his arm. Literally his entire arm was a giant bruise. I had to pick them up from the ER after work and we got dinner. That's actually the last day I saw my grandpa for the month! Because Thursday someone in my house tested positive for covid.

I had a minor surgery just for something that needed corrected when I got my deviated septum fixed so I could breathe through my nose scheduled for Friday, the next day. I only talked to that family member for less than a minute on Tuesday, so I called my doctor and he said I could go in and they would just do a rapid test before my surgery. I couldn't take my medicine that morning either. So I go in, get changed, take the medication for nausea and antibiotics... and the anesthesiologist comes out and is like, "You need to go home right now... You're a walking grenade... The world revolves around you." and I'm like. DUDE.

Apparently they also thought my dad drove me there and I'm like ???? NO. My brother drove me.
Idk. I was really frustrated. I basically went home and passed out for a few hours because instead of my "wake up" medicine, I took a "go to sleep to heal" medicine. X'D

They made me get another test, which was negative, on Sunday and rescheduled me for Wednesday. I asked my doctor when I was out of it after I woke up and he said it was a "difference in opinion". I had a different anesthesiologist for my surgery though lol
I also spent like 20 minutes before my surgery watching AMVs, so I woke up and started singing Fix You by Coldplay and Waves by Dean Lewis. X'D

I also ended up taking 4 tests total, and every single one was negative even though I spent a lot of time around my other family member who tested positive a week after the first. Honestly really surprised about it...

On the 16th we found out my Grandma on my dad's side had cancer. It was in her spine and had already metastasized, so they said they couldn't do anything. My dad, brother, and I drove out to Washington DC on the 26th. She could barely talk or anything and they had her on constant pain medicine at the hospital. She slept a lot of course, so my brother and I didn't spend as much time there as we planned... It also brought up way too many memories of my grandma on my mom's side. I walked into the room and was just... asdfkjh

We ended up going through some things at my grandparents house (it's going to be sold) and bringing back all of the artwork they created (painting, photography, mixed media, ect). My dad's three brothers want to send most of the stuff to Goodwill and we're just like NOPE.
My brother and I also went to the National Gallery of Art museum on Tuesday while we were there. It was a lot of fun! We counted the number of unclothed people there were in the artwork... We passed 80 and gave up, but it was definitely over a hundred and we only saw a third of the paintings. X'D

There's also a painting there that literally looks like someone took sharpie to it and gave a lion some eyebrows. According the the official website for the museum it's the "delta and theta signs" as the artist's signature... but it doesn't even look like them and they don't fit in the painting at all. Plus there's no brush strokes, it literally looks like a marker was used. [Painting is Madonna and Child with Saint Martina and Saint Agnes by El Greco] There's also a painting with weird plant eyes lol

So yeah... I also rewatched all of Digimon season 1 during September and some of season 2, but I forgot how angry Ken makes me and how annoying English dub Davis is with his attitude towards Kari.
My brother and I did see a three movies in theaters in one trip! We went to lunch together and then saw the Ten Rings movie, Show Me the Father, and Copshop. Hoping to see more movies this month.

As for editing, excuse the GUY.EXE parts. I literally edited them in the car with very bright sun and I could hardly seen the screen. X'D
Some parts I love, some are okay... I have 6 half finished parts too.

Also, Kim (kmbrose) helped me learn how to animate! ♥

Today (in my timezone still, not quite late XD) is European Day of Languages.
Neimi organized a project for it! I really wanted to join, but wasn't sure if I'd be able to...

I ended up editing this in the car when I didn't have internet, so couldn't download audio to work on MEP parts! XD
I also decided to just go with English. Technicallyyyy the rule was "can be any language that you're connected to in one way or another", but for some reason my brain went "a language you speak." I have since realized I could edit with a language that people I'm close to speak though instead... so maybe next year.

Also this song is English, but Astrid S is actually a Norwegian singer! I just chose a song I had downloaded already, so I did not know that while editing. XD

About the edit. I know I downloaded this song for something specific, but couldn't remember WHAT. So I just decided I'd edit some Violet Evergarden. It doesn't really fit Violet and Gilbert, so next couple I could think of was these two! It's really her trying to tell herself that it's okay that he doesn't care for her the same way, and she vents to Violet for a bit. Then I threw in a Violet and Gilbert comparison at the end because I needed the extra angst.

Anyway, happy EDL day! \(^o^)/
