To understand exactly what is going on here, we need to first set some things straight.Two sizable mountains are situated roughly 35 miles north of Jerusalem, in the center of the Bible's Promised Land. Mount Ebal is located slightly to the north of Mount Gerizim, which is the southernmost of the two.
