Planning more of these with the classic companions that you can recreate in the sliders. Maybe some self-romancing... 👀💕 stay tuned to see!
Secondly, I wanted to return to my Multiplayer Powers in Singleplayer series which I did back in the summer. I got a different screen recording software without an annoying watermark and I decided that while the Armax Arena is easy to set up and record, I wanted to show more than two minutes of me crushing the simulation. You're getting quite a lot of footage here of all these wonderful powers in use, so I hope you appreciate it.
The class is based off an idea I had to create an unstoppable Juggernaut that just shits on everything and can't die. This isn't quite as extreme as my original concepts, but any class that uses Shield Boost that isn't a volus basically renders themselves immortal, and the other powers are there to make combat a breeze. Arc Grenades plus Incinerate on a good cooldown equals tech combos fer dayz. Ballistic Blades are ridiculously strong on a power class like the Engineer (70% damage bonus just from the class passive!) and can one-shot unshielded mooks, as you can see throughout the mission where I wreck those pesky snipers. I'm using the Turian Ghost's Tactical Cloak to get the most out of my Harrier. I also planned to use Devastator Mode to complete the tank vibe, but I forgot that I deleted my modded default.sfar files and I didn't feel like redoing all that work just to use DM and Shield Boost at the same time. So while it's not as cool as I originally envisioned, it's still retardedly unfair. In the boss fight at the end you'll see what I mean, lol. I managed to outcheese my own clone, the cheating bastard.

I also wanted to show off these kickass Spectre N7 Defender and Cerberus Harrier skins which I got off the BSN. Definitely makes the Harrier look a ton better and the new skin for the Defender armour is really nice too. I added the Death Mask helmet by making the Defender armour a separate customisable torso armour selection, and made blank slots for the shoulders, arms and legs slots. Finally, please ignore the occasional frame rate drops. My laptop can run ME3 at ~60fps fairly comfortably, or it can record gameplay. Too poor to upgrade to a desktop so enjoy potatocam. Also, this took literally all weekend to upload, so I really hope you enjoy it.
So, Havoc Strike. Due to its nature of throwing you into the middle of a spawn, and the lack of shield regen, Havoc Strike is either loved or despised by the multiplayer community. Loads of fun to use, but bloody hell, it's not easy to wield without dying, especially without Stim Packs. If you wanted to use it, I would definitely pack another power like Stim Packs or even Repair Matrix to make it more useful as a pseudo-Charge. Changing the FOV helped a little bit as well with situational awareness, but I reckon that was offset by me recording on my laptop, which made it super framey and a bit laggy. That's why it looks like I have shit aim with the Reegar.
Insanity difficulty, Armax Arsenal Arena, Armax Classic map, Cerberus Super Elite enemies, No Placed Ammo modifier, Solo.
Powers: Incendiary Ammo, Frag Grenades, and Havoc Strike. I probably could have used Adrenaline Rush too, for bulkiness, but if I wanted the shield boost evo I would've had to have sacrificed bonus power, which would defeat the point of it. Everything dies instantly to the Reegar anyway.

Do it! For Mandalore!
Still taking requests, and I have a couple queued up, expect to see them sometime next week.
Seriously, she's pissed:

Systematic destruction...if you don't count all the clutch medi-gels. The price of going balls to the wall against Reapers. Er, so to speak. I still don't entirely understand why some of the Banshees in the Armax Arena die upon spawn. Maybe I'm just killing them too fast.
Smash is pretty cool in singleplayer. It fucking wrecks. Works great on the Adept, Warp is a great compliment, as you can see in the video. Cluster Grenades are good too for massive spike damage when you're tired of waiting on the cooldown. I'd recommend it, though obviously it helps if you can strategerise your usage by luring stuff to walls or cover that you can hit them through. You saw how quickly you get lit up out in the open. If you solve that problem though, then you're good.
Insanity difficulty, Armax Arsenal Arena, Fatal Error map, Reaper Super Elite enemies, No Placed Ammo modifier, Solo.
Powers: Warp, Throw, Cluster Grenades, Singularity, Warp Ammo, and Smash.

Man grunts lie in store for you. And who doesn't want that?
I have one more power demonstration planned. You'll like it, trust me. Well, I liked it. I'm still taking requests too.
However, the implosion damage does wreck enemies in singleplayer, as does the DoT effect. Combine that with a good detonator like Double Throw and you can set off a good few explosions before you're forced to blow it up and pick off the stragglers. If you wanted to take this as your "bonus power", my advice is it'd probably work best when used alongside all the other Adept's powers, instead of being the main power like I tried to do here.
It also looks badass as all hell.
Insanity difficulty, Armax Arsenal Arena, Pain Train map, Reaper Super Elite enemies, No Placed Ammo modifier, Solo.
Powers: Warp, Throw, Cluster Grenades, Shockwave, Warp Ammo, and Dark Sphere. Dark Sphere placed at the base of a Singularity is also pretty good, but I didn't get to show that off in the vid.

Straightforward (ish) to do, just follow the guide and you should be good to go.
I have a couple of requested powers left to upload, then I'm probably going to revisit a couple of my favourites and see what ungodly results I can create.

Unlike the vorcha in multiplayer, it's extremely hard to die as Shepard with Bloodlust on. Not impossible, but you really have to go out of your way to let it happen. Sustained fire can't deplete all your health. Under normal circumstances, you're effectively invincible. Pretty cool.
I've also since noticed in the playback that I tend to waste uptime by reloading after every kill. Old habits die hard, I guess.

Do it. Do it now! Don't you want to be invincible?
More videos coming up later in the week. Smash, Dark Sphere, and more. What more, you say? You'll just have to wait and see.
I know what you're thinking, "no 9,999 score", but this is without any score modifiers on. To get that close to breaking the scoreboard without any modifiers requires some properly good gameplay and a dashingly handsome gent at the wheel. I think this is enough of a demonstration anyway. If anything I think it's as much a demonstration of how insane the Engineer's passive is when coupled with a WMD power like Arc Grenades. That's 70% extra Power Damage, plus 30% from the Pistol Power Magnifier, and I'm getting an additional 10% from the Ajax Armor (though obviously if you picked another suit, you'd get 30% more - that's more than a QME with Power Amplifier IV in multiplayer.), and 15% from Intel upgrades. So yeah, quite a lot.
Again, first recorded attempt, but I did have to do a few practice runs off camera to find the right map. Blasteroid seemed like the best mix of ranged and CQC engagements, and with easy to reach ammo crates to refill on the good stuff.
Insanity difficulty, Armax Arsenal Arena, Blasteroid map, Geth Super Elite enemies, no modifiers, Solo.
Powers: Overload, Incinerate, Combat Drone, Sentry Turret, Armor Piercing Ammo (bonus power), and Arc Grenades. Suffice it to say, I think on all future tech playthroughs, I'm definitely going with these as my "bonus power".

Do not be put off by the apparent complexity, it's actually really straightforward to do. I did it. What more do you need to hear?
Upcoming vids: I've seen requests for Smash (pretty good fun), Dark Sphere (badass), Bloodlust (doesn't stack but otherwise works), Ballistic Blades (beautiful), and Devastator Mode. I will endeavour to cover all such powers and crush yet more enemies in this combat simulator. I also want to put the AF Vanguard to the test against some properly tough enemies, so look out for that. It's gon' be good.
Turns out it IS as good as we were hoping. I tried it out once, before turning on Bandicam. This was the first recorded attempt. If I could be bothered I could go for an even better time. I imagine a lot of time was added on because I tried to vary my power usage a bit, when I should have just stuck with Charge/Nova.
Insanity difficulty, Armax Arsenal Arena, Spin Zone map, Cerberus Super Elite enemies, No Placed Ammo modifier, Solo.
Level 60 Vanguard.
Powers: Biotic Charge, Nova, Pull, Reave, Flare, Incendiary Ammo, and Annihilation Field. Never leave home without your Flare bonus power. Reave is there as a replacement for Shockwave because Shockwave is a waste of points on the Vanguard (IMO).

It's no way near as complicated as it seems.

It's a pretty badass wallpaper and he's done ones for the other classes too. Check out his work if you haven't already!
