Replica Pattern 1907 Bayonet Frog Tobias Gibson 2022-12-21 | Join this channel to get access to perks:youtube.com/channel/UCWJaySMZh624Zgc-9BD9T0w/joinEric of Slick Slicers fame gave me a Pattern 1907 Bayonet for what is possibly the best Military Bolt Action Rifle ever made, The Mk III Short Magazine Lee Enfield! The bayonet and scabbard were in immaculate shape considering it most likely over 100 years old! However, it lacked a proper Bayonet Frog. I had a Pattern 37 Frog but really wanted a proper WWI era frog. I settled on a Light Horse Pattern Frog in Medium Brown. The Frog was made in India. India has has a long History with the Mk III SMLE. and the Pattern 1907 Bayonet.
Second look at the RRR Barlow Tobias Gibson 2022-12-18 | The liked the Rough Ryder Reserve Barlow the first time I saw it. My opinion hasn't changed much. If anything I like it even more today. Of the RRR knives I bought, this is the only one that I feel lives up to its price tag in that not only is it well made, it is more or less gimmick free, feels good in the and and actually lives up to what a Barlow should be! Three in White Smooth Bone, The Parker Mink, an Honest Abe Lobster, and a Pipe Tool Tobias Gibson 2022-12-14 | Join this channel to get access to perks:youtube.com/channel/UCWJaySMZh624Zgc-9BD9T0w/joinAll three of these knives were purchased on Ebay and and sold as White Smooth Bone Knives made by Parker Cutlery or Parker/Frost. In reality, only the Parker Mink can be verified as a Parker knife and it is technically in Appaloosa Bone. The Honest Abe was most likely made by Frost but that is an educated guess. The Pipe Tool, seems like a knife Parker may have made but is not not branded. None the less, all three are fun knives and live in my White Smooth Bone collection.
