MITSUBISHI MIGHTY MAX ALTERNATOR PULLEY MOD FOR 95 AMPS Samuel Rock 2022-06-11 | The alternator on the 2.4 Mighty Max went out. The alternator that was on the truck was from a Mitsubishi van. The original truck alternator is only 45 Amp output. When the electric fan was installed on the truck a few years ago Nick sourced a 65 Amp van alternator from AutoZone. When I went to get a new van alternator it was a horrible lead time. I found a 95 Amp alternator on Amazon for a 3.0 v6 Mighty Max, I took a chance and ordered it. Well the pulley was different and the old pulley did not fit the new alternator so we machined the pulley to fit the new alternator.
