These two beauties are made in Greece. Can’t wait to try them.Then they will be sent off to another YouTube reviewer in a cool pass around of these two awesome razors.From their website-Lambda Razors started making safety razors in 2019 as an experiment driven by my passion on traditional shaving. My long experience in 3D CAD Design and CNC programming gave me the opportunity to try to make a prototype of an open comb razor, called "Ares" by the Greek God of war. Judging by the name, this razor was meant to be aggressive and highly efficient. The razor was tested by several experienced shavers in Greece and it immediately collected positive feedback. It was a razor made by a special Al-Ni bronze alloy, which has relatively high corrosion resistance, much higher that plain brass but being a lot more expensive. Totally polished in mirror finish, this gives the impression of a golden effect. Presentation is key for our razors, so i decided to include a wooden case, made entirely out of solid mahogany wood using CNC machines. The whole package went very popular in the traditional shaving society, and this pushed me to start manufacturing Lambda Ares in low volume production. Later, in 2020, i presented an entirely new model, called Lambda Athena, which is a closed comb razor, with an entirely new design, featuring some innovations that were applied on safety razors for the first time. A prototype was produced which again collected excellent feedback. A low production batch was made, selling in less than 2 weeks to everywhere in the world, from Greece, to the USA, even to Japan. A second batch followed shortly after, again selling in 1 month time. Our plan include new models and using new materials for the production of our razors. Louisiana Travel Shave 2024- Merkur 34C, Wee Scot Brush, Elvado Towerby Estate Soap & Aftershave. Kensurfs 2024-01-12 | Had to do an emergency travel this week to Louisiana to the attend the funeral of my Uncle Herman, who passed away January 4th 2024. The ingredients are listed in the pics, we omitted 'natural essential oils', so please be aware of that. We lathered this apex predator soap with a 30 mm High Mountain white brush, it simply did not know when to stop producing lather, the thin bristles quickly made it thick and creamy, working that brush through the thick stuff was like driving a car with 4 flat tyres and no power steering, damn hard work! Some shampoo bars, a solid cologne and a roll-on type deodorant might be added soon enough if you guys like the current offerings and fragrance.The fragrance is hip, fresh and modern and has a leathery swing to it, but not as heavy as our more traditional '14' aftershave. The top notes will sing Bergamot and Cinnemon, the medium notes will be played by Orange blossom, Honeysuckle and Yasmin, while the base notes will be strummed by Sandalwood, Vetiver, Patchouli, Musk and Vanilla. This fragrance plays a fine tune indeed, if smell was a 80's rock song, this one would most certainly be Living on a prayer by Bon Jovi. This brush was made with black resin, natural salt and African Sekelbos wood, it is fitted with a 24 mm synthetic Tuxedo knot....this is solid equipment!The brush stands 146 mm tall, with the loft at 56 mm. It has a waist of 21 mm and a belly of 38 mm.
