Seriously, I adored them so much!!! This webtoon (& Siren's Lament) was like my comfort thing back then. Those who remembers knows, I have been spamming them all over my spam insta acc. I lived and laughed with them, and they were a big part of my middle school life until 2019, when the author went on a longer hiatus. Fast forward to December 2024, and I stumbled across my old animations. It got me thinking about finishing & grouping them together to some edits?? now that I’m also caught up with the current storyline?? Let me just say, reading it all again was an absolute blast and the great depression at the same time xD but the nostalgia hit hard with this comfort webtoon, and seeing the new twists and developments in the storyline? my jaw dropped.. (also my sweet gingerboy became edgy TT please somebody help him - it breaks my heart seeing him like this…. dare hurt him and I will bite your head off.)What’s wild is that it started as a romance genre, but now it’s full-on drama TˇT when I was re-reading it, I noticed all the hints I haven’t reliazed before, and honestly, I can’t help but wonder why I was so attached to those two. Maybe it’s because I see so much of myself and their situation in me despite their silly side and all AAAAAAA// cough, anyways……Here’s a little messy edit I put together! It means a lot to me but don’t expect anything super in top tier level. It’s more like a mix of my feelings and a simple instagram style from 2018 - it was a nice break to work on it from the hectic irl of mine regardless.. BTW MY SHIP BECAME A "CANON"! YES STALKYOO, YOU ARE MY ONE AND ONLY! rooting for you after all those 7-8 years (??) was WORTH IT!!! STOP BEING IN DENIAL THOUGHHPS: I had to like download all the stuff so now I have like over 5.2K images of this webtoon in my PC, welp;;; but i guess that comes with a price of re-drawing everything.

I would like to dedicate this edit to her because I know how much she adores Cloud from FFVII and rightfully so! He's so funny and so badass with his edgy face. Despite of this though.. Cloud also has the soft part that he hides deep under him and that's why I decided to make an edit focused on his adventure and a lil character analysis of him. Little did I know that someday I would decide to pull out one of the old personal projects and finish it to some level. I'm glad, even though this was originally supposed to be a longer shinran edit, I managed to turn it into something I'm a little proud of (except the intro & ending *cough*)??? an angst akane edit;; is pretty much I longed to do so... hehe,, I'm also happy I could include my other project in the last seconds. That animation took me a lot time ;w; would be a shame leave it rotten somewhere…Akane is a character that I deeply hold close to my heart. She's really precious and her personality (she's also INFJ sjhjskhk) and everything just drew me to her. The way she is, the way she thinks is so similar to the point, I can understand her with such deep empathy. It saddens me to hear all the criticisms about her, but I understand. Akane is not a person without flaws. The fact that she always gets back on her feet and never give up on her dreams? Is intelligent and ambitious, yet is a very caring person who goes above and beyond for aqua, who's dear to her? That's what I like the most about her & therefore this edit is smth really close to me ;w;Anyways,, I would still like to mention that I decided to publish this amv because I wanted to make a slightly more public announcement that I'm leaving the editing community. It is very difficult for me to find motivation and time now. Life and studies take up most of my energy & most of the studios I was in are closed now, so I think the word is just calling me to retire tehehe??
